The Legends of Trance, Nic and Bossi of Cosmic Gat e, made their way to Charlotte, NC. After a minor set back they managed to make their way into a packed house that literally wrapped around the entire building. People from all ages and walks of life were in attendance hoping to catch a glimpse of the dynamic duo from Germany. Nothing phased them as they dropped their latest tracks ?Going Home?and ?So Get Up.?An encore performance followed deep into the early morning hours that lasted over 25 minutes after the venues close time of 2:00am. Needless to say, the fans loved it? . Next stop for Cosmic Gate is a non-stop tour of Australia where they will be performing from Melbourne to Perth. After the gig Raver Magazine had an opportunity to go backstage and meet up with them. Here?s how the interview went: Press Contact: Stark Profiles: http:/ / www.starkprofilespr.co.uk

A. Nic: We were just talking about it. The feeling was so natural, so intense, that it was truly an amazing feeling to be with people of Charlotte. A. Bossi: Yeah, I agree. Usually in the UK I take the microphone and say ?you?re Legends, You?re Legends;?But here, these guys were really awesome. Q. You have inspired so many people, myself being one of them, Who growing up in Germany inspired you guys, in your life? A ? Nic: Wow, that?s really hard to say. For me, it?s no one famous; it?s my older brother. He brought my first mixer home. I was not even asking for it. So, he was one of the people who brought me into the world that I am living today. A- Bossi: We grew up close to the Dutch boarder and they had these wild mix shows back during the early 80?s. We would go to them and try to create new songs, to do whatever we could. The whole scene that we were living and seeing inspired us; we had to be a part of that, and here we are today.

Q. You guys have come off an epic encore set; how do you feel?

Q. What advise do you have for new producers and DJs? You guys are not really going mainstream like everyone else, how do you stay true to yourselves, true to form, despite the temptation to stray and go with the crowd? A - Nic. Back then, no one cared about who was playing at the venue, they wanted to just hear the music. We were the nerds back then who wanted to make the music, not just go and party like the rest of the crowd. The main advice is to do it for the right reasons and not just because it?s the cool thing to do, or because you can be famous, or to get girls; if you do it for that reason, if you do, I really don?t think it will not last for a long time. A ? Bossi: Be unique and different in what you create, don?t just copy others. If you do then you?re already too late. You will never be unique if you do. So be yourself and stand for something. Even if no one understands it. Maybe a year later people will and then it will be your turn for people to copy what you do. Don?t be number 900 on the ban wagon. Follow your heart and not you?re head and best of luck.

" " Paul?s big break was landing a residency at Birmingham?s Godkitchen and their globally-syndicated GlobalGathering festivals a decade back; a dream foundation for any aspiring DJ to build their career on. Take a look at the impressive and varied list of labels he?s had track signed to: Spinnin?Records, Steve Angello?s SIZE Records, Toolroom Records, Doorn Records, Ultra, Gareth Emery?s Garuda, Michael Woods?Diffused ...the list goes on and on. His golden remix touch has been requested for releases by legends like Basement Jaxx, Chicane, Underworld, Josh Wink, D Ramirez & Mark Knight, Deadmau5, Tiesto and Paul Oakenfold and he?s collaborated with Mark Knight and Jerome Isma-Ae, and more recently, Andy Moor and Funkagenda

He?s firmly established himself more recently as a leading name in the sphere of progressive and trance music across the globe, and the small matter of 9 separate Beatport genre Top 10 successes. His Ultraviolet track in Toolroom hit the No.1 spot in the Progressive Chart (as did other singles Tomorrow and Sunrise), and No. 5 on the overall sales chart, while remixes and collaborations with Funkagenda, Andy Moor, Tiesto & Paul Oakenfold are on the way. ?I guess I have gone back to my melodic roots over the past 12 months, making tracks with melodies and big chords, while keeping the beats and bass and beats quite big. It seems to have worked well, as I have a lot of cross-genre support, from Paul van Dyk and Above & Beyond to W&W and Hardwell.?

His UltraViolet record label has gone from strength to strength in the past few months since its launch in December 2013. The past few releases have seen Beatport chart success, including his singles ?Fiji?& the ?Sunrise?remixes each charting in the Beatport top 20 in progressive & trance respectively, with each release climbing the chart higher as the label grows at a quick pace. With continual touring across the world and a relentless studio diary to attend to, his name continues to rise up the ranks of the international dance music scene. His wide-appealing sound and die-hard work ethic will ensure that his name is one you?ll be hearing even more of over the next few years.

El ectronic Music Duo

El ectronic Music Duo Chris and Milooz, originally from Toulon, France form the dynamic electronic music duo, Godl ips. Their music forms an epic underground vibe that is taking Europe by storm. They?ve been noticed by German Label, OMGITM Records, shared the stage with legends, Brodinsky and Etinne de CrĂŠcy, and if that?s not enough, they are making positive strides with big house labels that are all to e willing to play their tracks across the planet. Their philosophy is simple, yet profound; share their music with the world. Not for money or fame, but rather for passion and for the love of music. Everything else will eventually fall into place with the passing of time. Raver Magazine had a chance to listen and stream some of their tracks in June.

So what?s next for Godlips? For now continue to make and share music with the masses. We want to develop our videos with a mapping integration in 3D, because images and sounds form a fantastic symbiosis. The future of Electronic Dance Music is now. When you come to our shows, know one thing and one thing only. Prepare yourself to be blown away. You can check out Godlips using the following links: www.soundcloud.com/ godlips www.facebook.com/ godlipsofficial

Godl ips

Their original mix ?I Like It Like This,? is one of our personal favorites. With its deep house and progressive house vibe it takes a spin toward more of a future house beat towards the middle. Definitely this is an unforgettable track that you will be playing again and again.

Winning Team is a new artist group from Helsinki, Finland. Members of the crew are experienced and respected djs/ producers Max Well, Veli Hiidenmaa, Patric Brex and Isku. We got a chance to catch up and ask them a few questions: Q. What type of music are your creating, when did you guys get started? A, We specialize in Progressive- and Big room house. Our journey began in the summer of 2013 we as four best friends decided to do something epic together, and formed a band. We have written and produced music together since 2010. Each of us have different backgrounds in music including Pop, Rap, Classical and Hardstyle. Q. Your videos are simply as brilliant as they are unique. All of them are top quality productions with great vocalists. When creating a new track or looking for a new element to feature in the next production what vibe are you guys trying to capture? A. Sometimes it starts with a melody or just a single sound. That being said, every time our tracks drop it is our goal to capture a positive feeling and emotion, the focus being on loving life. When we have an idea we first write the song and play around with it, and when the song is done we move on to the producing part, this way we capture emotion and musicality in every track. Q. What's the story behind Winning Team? The story that makes Winning Team what it is. I can see the passion in your music. I can feel the vibe with what you're creating, but there is always a story, a message that makes you guys who you are, that makes you different from the rest of the crowd. How did you guys untie and get to where you are today? More importantly, where are you guys taking the music for the rest of 2015 and beyond? A. We never thought of only being unique and different from anything, we just do what we love and when it works it turns to gold. One way we differ from other groups and bands within the EDM scene is that when the four of us hit the stage, the energy is massive. We are born musicians and performers, ready to take on any stage and rock a crowd. We have done a lot of hustle, hard work and good connections and just believing in ourselves to make it to the top. For future plans we continue making great music with love, aim high and keep doing our thing, since that's what we love to do, and that is what got us here.

Q&AW/ LO'99 Q. What's the one thing that you would like your fans to take away from your music? A.If my music gives peeps a good vibe, inspires them or anything like that it?s a win for me :) Q. There is a certain element, vibe that your music portrays and where do you find the inspiration to create that vibe. A. Perhaps much of my inspiration comes from my early rave and breaks days. I also think i?m always very conscious about writing tunes i can play myself, even if I?m writing a ?song? so things often come out real dark and clubby even if they are still very musical. Q. In a few words... Define success. A. Happy, comfortable, Playstation, pizza. Q What's in line up for Lo' 99 for the rest of 2015 and beyond? A. I think, by the time this gets printed, my mind will be out on Medium Rare Recordings, right after that I have another club weapon happening called 'All Night,'

Q. There is always a story behind every track that a producer creates, whats the story behind "Take Me Back"? A. Take Me Back is my collab with Marshall F, we worked on it in many different studios and it?s gone through quite a few transformations to what you hear now as the final song -/ in -fact I think some of the other versions could easily be released as remixes or as more VIPs if we just bounced them out as they are. They were all solid in own right, but I think we settled on the best vibe from all them. We have another tune together coming towards the end of the year. Q. Any plans to visit the US? A. Well I hope that maybe ill come over for WMC next year, maybe stay a month either before or after - hope so! Really looking forward to come to the US again, last time there I was a toddler.

24 - Year Old Producer from England, Dubbed Out , took sometime out of his busy schedule to chat with Raver Magazine: Dubbed Out - House Cat s is planned for release 08th August on Billionaires Records. This is one that you dont want to miss out on so follow him on Soundcl oud: https:/ / soundcloud.com/ dubbed-out Inst agram (@itsdubbedout)

DUBBEDOUT

Q: Tell the fans a little about yourself, where your from, what your music is about, and what genre do you focus on.

A: I'm a 24-year old producer from the North of England. My musical weapon of choice is Reason & I?ve been making music since 2008 although its only recently I have really pushed and put the hours in that you need to get your music to the right level. Work rate is key! I originally started out as a dubstep head with a few ventures into other genres. Its a completely different story now, I have switched my style over the last year or so and I'm enjoying making House music at the minute: Deep or Tech to be precise. Although I don't like to define myself by genre, I'll start on something new and if it works it works. I have projects in the works now spanning across House, Dubstep, Drum&Bass & Trap, so you'll get to hear every bit of everything on my Soundcloud going forward. Q: What?s in the line-up for Dubbed Out?

A: To be honest I can't stay away from the studio, but I do have ?DJing?plans too. I have an EP forthcoming that I?m getting ready to announce can announce in the near future. I can give you a sneak peak though by saying that it's all bottom-heavy House music though, punchy drums and addictive grooves! This year for me is all about perfecting my skills and becoming a real force in the Electronic Music scene. You can keep up to date with all my upcoming stuff through my social media.I'm also part of a DJ Squad called 'The Connexion' and they are key to my DJ plans. So big up to my Connexion brothers!!!!

Q: You started mixing back in 2008, how do you feel your music has evolved through technology over these past 7 years and do you feel that the technology now vs. then is for the better? A: I have been using the same software near enough throughout my productions, but there have been some nice additions to Reason in the last couple of versions! I'm a massive believer that its not about the equipment or software you use, no doubt having the latest Pioneers is dope and its good to be familiar with the club set-up, but that?s not to say you can't tear up a stage using some beat up Numarks! Everyone wants to be a DJ now and I think that the changes were inevitable with the tech available these days. I think that the art of turntablism will be missed and the feel of a white label vinyl will be too but everything evolves, just don't get left behind!

Q: What message do you try to convey with your music, especially to the people that follow you? When they leave your event what?s the one thing you want them to take away from the experience. A: It really depends on what track I?m putting out. I really love when you show your friends or someone a tune in the early stages and they can?t help but move their head or tap their foot. You know its a banger if you cant sit still making it! I like that party vibe. I want people to hear my music and just lose it. But on the other hand, if I'm producing a more relaxed, chilled track then I want people to be able to feel that too. It depends on what I am making but either way I want people to hear my music and know its Dubbed Out. Q: Your remix of Uptown Funk which was removed by sound cloud after getting over 30,000 listens. What happened? More importantly why do you feel the track had such a huge influence with the masses. A: Well, its a tricky subject really. I appreciate that the rights to the original are not mine but I was not trying to redistribute or make any money for myself, or pass it off as my own music. I just wanted people to hear my bass related remix. It had such an impact because it was open to such a wide scope of people. On one hand you have the people who are there for the House music and the production but then you also have people listening who might not usually listen to Bass House music but give it a go because they know it?s the original. It was a production that went well from start to finish and the whole vibe just worked. It?s one of my personal favorites productions. Q: What's the future of Dubbed Out? Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years? A: The future of Dubbed Out is going to be a collection of my solo ventures, collaborations with other artists and a whole lot of BASS! I want to spend the rest of this year crafting my sound. When I'm happy in that aspect I want to build a brand, do everything from selling music to personalised Dubbed Out sex toys. Maybe not the last part but still, I want to build a well-known brand and who knows. Perhaps even my own label. I know a bunch of talented

RAM- FOREVERLOVE

RAM: three always-capitalized letters that scene-wide, for the last five years, have become synonymous with emotive yet ballistic trance. A man who has Amsterdam all-but running through his veins, his home city has provided the base from which to triangulate his Grotesque record label, parties and weekly radio show. Through an unstinting run of high-profile gigs and 7 successive Beatport Top 10 hits, the Netherlander has expedited his way through the ranks, establishing a position with which to challenge its highest echelons. Now, in the next natural move in that trajectory, summer 2015 sees RAM present his debut long-player. Out June 29th, across 14 extraordinary, breath-stealing pieces of music, he puts into the sharpest of sonic perspectives what?s seen him become the force he has. Across, solo, collaborative, instrumental and vocally enhanced cuts, the album highlights RAM?s singular sound. Featuring co-productions with Andy Moor, Chris Met cal f e, James Dymond and others, it also rallies the vocals talents of Susana, Christ ina Novel l i, Nat al ie Gioia, Cl aire St agg and St ine Grove to its cause. Featuring the club hit singles ?RAMore?, ?Cl ockwork Orange?& ?End Of Times?, it also includes the early summer smashes ?Someone Like You?& ?Al l Gone?and brand new, album-exclusive reworks of ?RAMel ia?and ?Kingdom Of Dreams?. An album dedicated to the memory of his late wife, Amelia ? a passing that touched the scene globally, this is his testament. Message and tribute as one: this is ?Forever Love??

https:/ / itunes.apple.com/ us/ album/ forever-love-bonus-track-version/ id1001264975 Behind the decks, lit by the lasers and meeting the audience head-on, there?s absolutely no missing the drive and determination that fires Ram ?RAM?Boon. The young Dutchman now trains every ounce of that contagious force-of-will on the production and release of his first full studio album. In and amongst its 14 tracks, you?ll find trance touched with melody, wrought with energy and invested at every turn with poignancy and authenticity. Setting it on its path - and featuring the folk-inflected tones of UK singer Claire Stagg, ?Guiding Star?provides ?Forever Love?s stirring overture. RAM?s evermore-key singer/ songwriter/ muse Susanna isn?t far behind, letting her incredible voice reach its full emotional range on the profoundly moving ?Someone Like You?and the symphonic tonic that is ?RAMelia?s new Orchestra Mix. Through ?Circle Of Life?, ?Clockwork Orange?, ?Elijah?, ?Heartfelt?and the RAM 2015 Rework of ?Kingdom Of Dreams?meanwhile, he puts his own club-floor annihilating solo skills front-and-centre, with a quintet of massive standalone earthmovers! On the release of his first album, RAM had the following words for fans: ?This album is made out of love and from pure emotions that I had these last 18 months, since my wife passed away... It's been a rollercoaster and I've put all my feelings into this album, to help me through, and to translate those feelings into music!? Joined by the UK?s Chris Metcalfe on production and Natalie Gioia on vocals, the spirited ?Don?t Give Up?is next to the ?Forever Love?equation. RAM is of course well known for his hallmark line of RAM-prefaced titles (?RAMsterdam?, ?RAMplify?& ?RAMnesia?among them). The first release on his Grotesque label, ?RAMore?delivers another uplifting, trance-to-the-core outing to the RAM canon. Force multiplying moves are afoot next, as RAM is joined by fellow production & vocal heavyweights Andy Moor and Christina Novelli on the Beatport top 5 smashing ?All Gone?. Working with the best of the studio & song new-skool too, James Dymond and Kim Kiona team up with RAM on ?Forever Love?s roof-rockingly infectious ?End Of Times?. Ebullient, effervesce and every bit as expressively moving as it is floor-filling, ?Forever Love?is the RAM album debut fans have long called for. It?s out June 29t h.
