hen Nikhil was 5, his mother figured out his interest towards playing the classical instrument - Tabla. His family and friends are of an opinion that he is gi ed with this talent but Nikhil dismisses it really quick. He shares all the effort which takes in to master this art. Nikhil says that he is certainly blessed with the most amazing guru/teacher who showed him the right path in this field and whatever he is today is all because of him. He looks up to a lot of people, star ng from his guru/teacher to great maestros such as the great Ustad Habibuddin Khan Sahab, Ustad Ahmedjaan Thirakwa, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pandit Anindo Cha erjee, Pandit Anokhilal Mishra and a lot more. Nikhil recently covered the very famous 'kun faya kun' which had an amazing response from the people on Instagram and he personally also love that the most. To add another feather to his hat, Nikhil have worked with a few music directors from the Middle East and a few from India. His Guru Shri Vishwanath Sitala Ji was the one who developed my Nikhil's l interest towards tabla by doing anything and everything that was in his power. Poin ng towards his career qualifica ons, he completed his B.TECH from VIT and right now he is a full me musician.

he apprecia on of art goes back a long way in Fazal's lineage. He believes that growing up to the most classical portraits of his ancestors from the Nizam's period got him into this art. Most importantly, Fazal owe it to his father who not only allowed him to use his cameras at a very early age, but explained the basics of photography when he was a child. in the streets of London - travel story We bring you our blogger A K to share her recent trip to UK We all know that travel can be one of the most rewarding forms of introspec on. Chartering new territory makes us think in new ways and forces us to break from rou ne or create new rou nes. My recent trip to London was a true testament to this. London as a city isn't new to me, but every me I visit London, it is a new adventure all over again. This me, my sole purpose was to find corners of the city that I hadn't seen before - small local pubs, fresh food markets, vintage stores, flea exhibi ons, parks and new neighbourhoods. My most favourite area in London has always been Brick Lane, since it is a museum of street art. I love the contradic ons you see around every corner, but what I love the most are the vintage shops here - I can lose myself for hours browsing through different eras of fashion and life. My favourite moments, though, were when we were si ng at a sidewalk cafe and watching the people and vendors. Or si ng in the front row at the top of a double decker bus and watching life and sights go by. Everywhere you look, the local people blend in by being different.
They have bright-coloured dyed hair styled in interes ng, severe cuts, and fashionable clothing that looks like they've jumped out of fashion magazines. The best part is that a er a few days walking the London streets, you start to feel like that yourself - that anything goes and that London is Open! I was also lucky enough to visit York and Bournemouth, two of England's most beau ful ci es, in my opinion. We visited the famous York Minster cathedral and walked the perimeter of the city along the great walls, with incredible views along the way. I also had my first High Tea experience at Be y's tea rooms in York. Picture Perfect English Bliss. Every me I travel, I challenge myself to find out things and places I didn't know about. And I always feel renewed and excited to bring these new perspec ves back with me. What a dream it was to be able to travel on my own. For now, it's me to put that newfound inspira on and perspec ve into ac on.
