LOL. I use a skincare line from Korea called A.C Care. I also use a face wash, toner, Vitamin C serum, Vitamin A and have been so many moments in my career facial moisturizer. Also, every night I use a yogurt kiwi that have humbled me and left me with that mask. It works wonders for your skin and leaves it with a feeling of excitement. If I had to chose one natural glow. moment I would say when I was selected by ABC for a show called “The Big Time.” I was selected out of 600 girls for the show. Being fit and active is a big part of who I am. Living on the Gold Coast its easy to get out there and stay trim. What is your biggest fashion flop or disaster moment and how did you recover? I haven’t really had a

major fashion disaster or flop, the odd catwalk stumble is about it so far....thankfully. Tell us about your new T.V. show Lightning Point?

Lightning Point is an adventerous and exciting show aimed at early teens and is about two alien girls that steal a space ship to explore and land in a sleepy little surf town. They become stranded on earth when their space ship explodes. They befriend a local girl called Amber and their adventures begin. The story follows them as they make friends, find romance, experience new emotions and fun times living in the human world whilst trying to keep their alien identity a secret. There is lots of surfing and horse riding, which I love. You play the leading role of Kiki, an alien surf chic. Do you like this character? Yes, she is very similar to

me. An animal and nature lover, a true free spirit a great character to play I had so much fun. What is your ultimate goal as an actress or model? Where would you like to work or whom would you like to work for? My ultimate goal would be to model in a

Victoria Secret show, and with my acting I would love the opportunity to work on a feature film under the direction of the great Spielberg, Michael Bay or Randall Emmett who I admire. Where do you see yourself in five to ten years? One

Leblon Cachaça Leblon Cachaça is a luxury, artisanal brand of the alcoholic beverage Cachaça (pronounced ka-SHA-sa) made at the Destillerie Maison Leblon in Patos de Minas, Minas Gerais in Brazil. Leblon is named for Leblon Beach, a hip, upscale beach neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro. Winner of “Best Cachaca” a record eight consecutive gold medals from 2006 to 2013 at San Francisco’s World Spirits Competition Cachaça is not rum. Cachaça is made from fresh sugar cane, not molasses, and can only come from Brazil. It tastes different than rum, with a fresher, fruitier flavor. Cachaça is the national spirit of Brazil. The difference is that cachaça is made from the fermentation of sugar cane juice where rum uses molasses. Leblon combines traditional approaches with creative European winemaking techniques to create a Cachaça that is extra special. Gilles Merlet, famous master distiller from the Cognac region of France, takes Cachaça to a whole new level with his ‘French touch,’ transforming the distillery to the state-of-the-art Maison Leblon. Leblon is rested in vintage XO Cognac casks for up to six months, polishing the spirit without altering the nose of the fresh cane. The result is an ultra-smooth taste. Leblon tastes great neat, mixes wonderfully with fruit juice such as pineapple juice, cranberry juice, or even lemonade or soda, and provides an interesting Brazilian twist to any cocktail. Leblon Cachaça mixes extremely well with tonic water (highly recommended with a twist of lime). The national cocktail of Brazil, the Caipirinha (pronounced ‘KIE-PUR-REEN-YAH’), is a combination of muddled lime, sugar and Cachaça served on the rocks in a rocks glass. Take a good size lime, cut it into several wedges, and place four wedges in a rocks glass. Add two teaspoons of sugar, mash the lime and sugar with a muddler for fifteen seconds, and add crushed ice up to the rim of the glass. What are the meanings behind each collection name? How do you decide what to name them Discovery, Dynasty, Aviary, etc.? What meanings do these names hold for you?

After a specific collection has been designed, and I’ve written the story for the collection, we’ll look at what ties it together and more often than not, the name comes very quickly. I imagine it’s like seeing your child for the first time and just knowing their name. What are some of your personal favorites of the current collection and why? I adore the Menagerie

Panel One Piece and the Hideaway Bikinis - those are my two favourite prints - they just resonate with me and maybe because they took the longest to get perfect during the design process. The new accessories line of shoes, sunglasses, iPhone covers and playing cards is super cute...what was the inspiration to design footwear? The

Espadrilles are a collaboration with our friend’s company Soludos. Our labels have the same type of design philosophy, values and audience and thus a collaboration was a no brainer. We love to work with brands and lifestyle products that fit with our own. We worked really hard to get our prints onto the canvas and looking fantastic - something that hadn’t been done before!!!

What does design/fashion mean to you? Your definition of this? To me design is life. Everything is designed.

I appreciate the design in everything, from the fork in your mouth to way the food is presented on the plate.

I love that everyone’s style is uniquely different and directly relates back to their life experiences, memories and dreams!

If you could design one piece for anyone in the world who would it be and why? I’d love to design a swimsuit for

Marilyn Monroe in her prime. She wore a confidence in herself seldom seen in todays pin-up girls and celebrities. She was comfortable in her own skin and therefore in whatever she wore - and that in itself makes a true beauty. Where is the most interesting place you have ever traveled? What inspires you most from this place?

Africa - hands down!! Most of the continent is living cut off from the rest of the world - in terms of technology but more in terms of their culture, traditions, habits and environments. In Africa life is about survival, not about luxury, comfort and masterchef. Spending time there really makes you appreciate what we have in our world. What are your future goals and visions for We Are Handsome? What can your consumers look forward to?

You are a very fresh, hot new Aussie label, the Mijanou Swimwear brand just recently launched in April of 2012. How has this whirlwind been for you? The amount of attention the label has received is very encouraging, exciting and so motivating. We are loving the press attention and seeing our swimsuits on the beautiful Aussie beaches!!! What was your inspiration for the new Bohemian Spirit 2014 collection? This collection captures the free spirit of the Mijanou woman...living for love and art, living without rules,without a sense of time...poolside glamour, the French Riviera, luxury and sophistcation!! What textiles did you use with this collection...we see a lot of new prints and bold colors? We used nomadic and painterly prints combined with tassels, silk, laser cutting and sheer mesh inserts to emulate the carefree beach boho lifestyle. Do tell...what are your personal favs of the label so far? I love the art nouveau inspired pieces because they are bold, detailed, unique and feminine. They have a pinch of old world glamour with a dash of the modern. Who is one celebrity you would like to design a suit for and why? Princess Kate. She is so beautiful, classic and very influential. She has come a long way with her fashion trends and always looks super elegant. Whatâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s next for Mijanou? We are working on a new evening gown collection with plunging open backs, sequin fabrics and unique detailing...stay tuned!!!

IVANAhelsinki Paolo Suhonen is the creative genius behind the independent fashion, art & cinema brand IVANAhelsinki, delicately weaving Slavic rough melancholy and pure Scandinavian influence.

How would you define fashion within the Finnish culture and Slavic trends? Finland is very industrial, strong and commercial taking from that hard lines which are very functional in design, but also extremely creative.

We find travel defines us in everything we do.... What inspiration do you take with you from various locations?

I love travleing on cross country road trips through America, from New York to Alaska, Canada and everything in between. Patterned, textured wallpaper is everywhere if you look for it and I photograph and sketch the details using them for future print inspirations.

Working with your Indian Summer collection we can see such prints evident in your design schemes. How would you describe this collection?

This collection is inspired by childhood memories of bohemian Scandinavian architecture, our relatives weekend parties with food, wine, smoke filled corridors, laughter...creating a mood of simple elegance, bold prints, intellectual minds and passionate conversations. Indian Summer features some amazing brown feather prints, organic pieces, thick white knits and bulky rich luxe sweater pieces.

Years ago in the isolated town of Helsinki you started a Young Designers Club..tell us about that.

How would you describe your 3D digital modeling techniques? Iâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;m interested in the principles of biomimicry, the study of â&#x20AC;&#x153;solutionsâ&#x20AC;? in the natural world as a possible solution to contemporary Architecture and Design. I use 3D software to reproduce the processes of nature as inspiration for my work. What are some of your personal favorite pieces of your 3D collections and why? I love the Alchemy asymmetric shoulder cover because of its unusual position on the body; the piece stands between the shoulder, the neck and the shoulder blade. RAW Fashion Magazine - 2014

What does Alchemy mean to you? Why did you name your accessories collection Alchemy? What was the inspiration behind these pieces? I think the goal of contemporary design is the convergence of nature and technology. New disciplines are emerging from the convergence of biology, chemistry, medicine design and engineering. This always reminds me of the ancient science of Alchemy. Alchemy is the process of transforming something common into something special, merging chemistry, medicine and magic. New technologies such as 3D printing have made the process of transmutation real and are becoming so sophisticated as to resemble magic.

What has been your most rewarding discovery with 3D digital modeling and how has this impacted your views on architecture? I’m obsessed with time, and how time affects reality. Growth, movement, and evolution but also senescence, decline and decay are time-based processes. The possibility to simulate these operations through software has largely influenced my work and my research. Turbulence, the necklace I designed in collaboration with the fashion designer Leyre Valiente, is about the simulation of a fractured system which decomposes to make singularities emerge. What are your future goals and visions for 3D printing and how would that impact the future of design? The advent of digital fabrication together with the widespread web access and the rise of social networks have dramatically redefined the design discipline and more generally the way human beings think and create. However, Additive Technology is only at a preliminary stage; but in ten years’ time we will probably be able to print buildings or as Enrico Dini says, “entire urban sections”. I believe that the biggest changes will derive from the use of 3D printing in medicine. In the hopefully near future we will in fact be able to bioprint human body parts such as a fully functioning heart. At RAW we love to travel and gather inspirations from everywhere we go...so we have to ask where is the most facinating culture you have experienced so far? The most interesting place is the one you still have yet to visit. I’d like to travel to Japan as I’ve never been there, but am really attracted to their culture. I feel a sort of empathy with their sensitivity. I love their strange mix of tradition and innovation of minimalism and exuberance of silence and noise….
