24 Prescott NOW! September 2022 Prescott Valley’s Northern Arizona Wranglers won a thrilling Western Conference Final showdown against the Arizona Rattlers on July 31, advancing to the Indoor Football League’s (IFL) championship game. The 52-51 victory came out of a hardfought game against the Phoenix team on its home turf at Footprint Center, which was tied at 14 each 15 minutes into the game and left the Wranglers at a 38-24 deficit at the half. Chopping the Rattlers’ lead to 7 by the end of the third quarter, the Wranglers exploded in the final lap with two touchdowns, an extra point and an incredible end-zone interception by Trae Meadows. The Wranglers went on to win the IFL championship Aug. 13 in Las Vegas against the Quad City Steamrollers 47-45 in another hard-fought game, bringing the trophy home to the Findlay Toyota Center.

Domenic and Rosa Anzelmo opened the doors of one of Prescott’s most-celebrated family restaurants, Rosa’s Pizzeria, in 2011. The pizzeria pays homage to the family’s deep Mediterranean roots offering authentic, homemade Sicilian and Southern-Italian recipes along with traditional New York-style pizza. Complete with a full bar, the interior offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with rustic brick walls, buffalo-plaid tabletops and vintage art pieces. After almost a decade of successful operation, local restauranteur Skyler Reeves of Vivili Hospitality Group took ownership of the restaurant in 2018 under the one condition that he carried on the Anzelmo’s legacy by not a changing a thing. In 2021, Vivili marked its first market expansion by opening a new location of the iconic restaurant in Prescott Valley. Rosa’s Pizzeria is open daily for lunch and dinner. Dewey-Humboldt led the Quad Cities with an 18.5% increase in median selling price during July, reaching $467,500. Prescott’s median sales price grew from this time last year by 13.4% last month, reaching $612,420. “Quad Cities REALTORS® are encouraged to see more opportunities for buyers in the housing market as inventory increases,” said George Beitzel, 2022 PAAR President. “Looking ahead, the current moderation in mortgage rates may bring more buyers back to the market as they try to take advantage of low rates,” Beitzel added. “As buyers and sellers navigate ongoing economic changes and fluctuating mortgage rates, REALTORS® can help them successfully reach the closing table.”

Prescott Valley had a median price increase of 6.4% compared to a year ago, reaching $425,000 at the end of the month of July. The 94 closed home sales represent a 16.8% decrease compared to the same month in 2021. The median sales price in Chino Valley held steady at $390,000, with 39 homes sold in July. The 1,101 homes listed for sale in the Quad Cities region at the end of July reflect a doubling of available homes since this time last year.

A legacy of real estate. A mastery of real estate marketing.

Let’s have a conversation about how the team at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty® can create a custom marketing plan for your property in Prescott.

At Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty, we have found that adequately representing unique properties requires unique skills. Over the years, our agents have developed innovative marketing tools and relationships with some of the most quali ed buyers in the world. They have also developed a love for getting to know a house down to its most intimate detail. In the end, we don't so much sell a home as part with it. To market a distinctive home requires uncommon knowledge and resources, allow us to represent you.
