Congratulations on your engagement! Welcome to Palos Verdes Golf Club

Wedding ceremonies are held in our Rose Garden with a backdrop of Golf Greens, Cityscape and Pacific Coast. Our ceremony packages include white garden chairs, a rustic wood pergola, sound system, beverage station, complete with orange infused water and lemonade and a one hour wedding rehearsal prior to the wedding day. The bride is pampered in our Altamira Bridal Tower, complete with an Artisan cheese display, champagne, bottled water and soft beverages. The Groom can relax in our historic Bud Oakley Room and is treated with an Artisan cheese display, champagne, bottled water and soft beverages ___________________

Wedding Package Enhancements

HOURS OF SCHEDULED FUNCTIONS Daytime events include 4 hours of event time (5 hours if including a wedding ceremony) and are to conclude by 3:00pm. Evening functions include 5 hours of event time (6 hours if including a wedding ceremony) and can be scheduled to start at 5:00pm or later. If the client requires use of the venue outside of these time frames, additional fees will apply and must be pre-approved by the Club. All event spaces may be reserved for the entire day for events requiring early set-up and are based upon availability and priced accordingly. Outdoor events may not be reserved beyond 10:00pm.

PALOS VERDES GOLF CLUB CATERING MANAGER You will work with your Catering Manager who will guide you towards realizing your vision in the form of specially designed food and beverage offerings and recommendations for all services pertaining to your event. FOOD AND BEVERAGE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS All event spaces at Palos Verdes Golf Club require a food and beverage minimum. These minimum requirements are exclusive of the current taxable service charge and sales tax that are applicable to all food and beverage items. Ceremony package and room rental are subject to current applicable sales tax. Minimums are subject to change. Saturday food and beverage minimums apply to Sundays of some holiday weekends.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT POLICY An initial non-refundable deposit is required at the time of contract signing to secure your reservation. A detailed schedule of deposits will be outlined in your contract. Your full estimated balance is due ten (10) days prior to your event, based upon an Estimate of Charges that will be provided by your Catering Manager. A current Credit Card Authorization Form is required with your signed event contract as per the Club’s Credit Policy. Deposits may be made in the form of credit card, cash or cashier’s check.

Valet Parking is required for any event of (150) guests or more. Valet is to be arranged by Palos Verdes Golf Club. Should excessive clean up or repairs be required after your event, fees will be charged to your account.

MENU TASTING Tastings are offered after a confirmed booking and include (2) Starters and (3) Entrees. Tastings are scheduled in advance and can take place on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s at 3:00pm.

Clean up and repair fees start at $500, and will be determined by Club Management.

A CHOICE OF ENTRÉE FOR YOUR GUESTS You may offer your guests a choice between (2) entrees. The Club requires utilizing escort cards. If you choose to offer a choice of entrée, your guaranteed number of each entrée should be submitted ten (10) business days prior to your event. An individual place card with your guests’ predetermined entrée selection noted is required. DÉCOR Each event space is equipped with dark bronze Chivari chairs including non-removable champagne cushion and a combination of 60” and 72” round tables. House linens include a choice of ivory or white floor length linens. Each setting consists of fine white china, stemware, silverware and a white or ivory cloth napkin. Also provided is a parquet dance floor, place card table, gift table and DJ table. Candles are permissible provided the flame is not exposed and is surrounded in glass. WEDDING CEREMONIES The Rose Garden Lawn is offered in conjunction with a luncheon or dinner reception held in our Palos Verdes Ballroom. The ceremony package fees include white garden chairs, a standing microphone for your Officiant, sound system and water station. WEDDING COORDINATORS All wedding ceremonies and receptions hosted at Palos Verdes Golf Club are required to hire a licensed, professional wedding coordinator for a minimum of 1 month’s services prior to the contracted event day. WEDDING REHEARSAL Palos Verdes Golf Club extends a complimentary 60-minute wedding rehearsal with your contracted wedding at the Club. Rehearsal dates and times can be scheduled (30) days out. Please note that rehearsal dates and times are not guaranteed and must coincide with other events taking place at PVGC. Your wedding coordinator will be responsible foroverseeing and conducting the wedding rehearsal. VALET PARKING Valet parking services are required for all events expecting over 150 guests. The Club will make arrangements for Valet Services. Valet parking fees start at $1,500 and will be determined by your actual guest count.
