World class architects, Fender Katsalidis, is an award winning design practice renowned for producing cutting edge buildings with sound functional planning. Having worked on notable projects including Melbourne’s Eureka Tower and The Malthouse in Richmond, Fender Katsalidis Architects now brings its distinctive design to Maison Carnegie. Inspired by the notion of ‘home’, Fender Katsalidis Architects design for Maison Carnegie sees the use of stylish materials like copper and stone to articulate each dwelling with a sense of warmth. Inspired kitchen designs by awardwinning chef Adam D’Sylva, where functionality and beauty intertwine.

Carnegie Maison is being designed to best practice sustainable design standards.

Maison Carnegie kitchens have been thoughtfully designed in collaboration with renowned chef Adam D’Sylva, co-owner of Coda and Tonka, two of Melbourne’s most sought after bars and restaurants. Adam brings a vibrant, yet luxurious approach to the table, carefully curating stylish fittings and fixtures, premium Miele appliances and sophisticated stone benchtops, all working harmoniously together to deliver an elegant yet functional space.

The development encompasses best practice sustainable design, with a holistic approach to sustainability which covers a range of environmental design initiatives from indoor environment quality and material selection to energy and water consumption. The project’s environmental aspirations are reflected in its registration for a Green Star – Design & As Built rating. The sustainable design strategy for the development includes initiatives to enhance health and wellbeing such as good levels of natural light, a design which provides high levels of thermal comfort, low emitting paints and coatings, and provision of bicycle facilities for residents and visitors.
