adjusted bindings in place. Protection from the sun and wind – in the form of sunscreen and properly fitted goggles that work with a helmet – reduces the risk of becoming uncomfortable.
Clothing Snowboarding necessarily takes place in low temperatures and often extreme weather conditions. Wearing several layers of clothing and a helmet liner can help to protect against the effects of the cold.
Trail Rules Each trail will have rules which should be followed to the letter. As with any sport that carries risk, snowboarding should not be undertaken alone. Staying on trails that match the current level of skill helps reduce the risk of injury, as does staying on the designated trails. Even experienced snowboarders can benefit from refresher lessons.
