the mirror of fear

My project
is dealing with my current life
proposition - how to overcome fear? I make a series of emotional jewelleries with fear as the start point that takes card game as the prototype, inspired from my own experience, to explore the external and internal factors of fear, and provides suggestions and guidance. Jewellery, as a deductive form of fear, generates and transfers energy in the dialogue of card games. The initial doubt about fear came from my obsession to horror movies, in the process of digging deep into fear, I sum up the three-stage change called Observation-Obsession- Reflection.
Sense of fear has become a synonym, which is
a collection of all experiences. Therefore, I combine my own experience with the connotation of fear given to jewellery to create different characters with strong emotion. Tarot card is an Exit for me, in the unpredictable future, how can this emotion be transformed?
Initial stage: Observation - When you are reading this sentence, you are already observing and being observed. Medium stage: Obsession - The strong tentacle is seeking power from the external world. Late stage: Reflection - Please return to inner self.
Starling: she was faced with lamb's choice many times when she was growing up. Bill: As his needs are not met, he is addicted to hunting and skinning to achieve emotional transformation. Hannibal: Instead of screaming, he picked up the butcher's knife and kept taking risks after seeing the dark side of the world.
External: Research 1: I have always been bound by morality and order, it reminds me of the thousand handed Avalokitesvara, the double headed beast in the anatomy book, the tentacles, and the constantly changing shell, breaking free from one layer after another. Research 2: Mercury is a "unity of opposites", which is composed of all imaginary opposites. It is both material and spiritual. Mercury and his countless names are both at the beginning and the end, and somewhere within reach, referring to Spirit Mercury.
Research 3: The truth of every religious spirit will gradually turn into something material, and become just a tool in people's hands, which can project to their own needs and break their needs.
Internal::
Research 1: Referring to Young's double slit diffraction, when the observer variable is added, the objective experimental results change, and the observation leads to behavior differentiation. Research 2: Insects hide their fear by collecting their own shed heads. Therefore, when the observation behavior exists, the head shell / mask with strong differentiation behavior corresponds to the role and awakening. Research 3: "The fire from the core takes everything up, but when it cools down, everything falls back to the core again.
Replace
It enjoys the almost crazy satisfaction that births in pain, replacing the lose limbs by a more powerful body. It is flexible to make any decision, can accept the pleasure brought by the unknown, but need to hide identity.
Hide
It's a self-saving per formance, ex tending the broken tentacle. It's infatuated with the old things absolutely with proud epaulets. It's hiding the fact that the aorta is ruptured.
Swallow
There is such a strong and puzzling power like the greedy plants climbing up, however, it has been under control. It doesn't matter whether it is the fruit of the devil or not. It quickly swallows it and pretends to be contented.
Flaunt
This is a ceremony of selfconsciousness separation, the left body solemnly holds the scepter and cuts off one arm, the right body is catching pre y, agile and powerful. The future evolution is unpredictable
Surrender
It surrenders to the power they worship that the things with strong temptation and authority, be willing to lose faith for them, put on the mask of god, and pay everything for the sanctity in their hearts.
Attack
It is a stupid and stubborn attacker, it killed a man, cut off a leg that was half bitten off by himself, and connected it to himself as the more ostentatious weapon, it disguised himself as a dull face.
Dance
It is wandering and acting every scene, trying to become a new self in the separation, it insist that there is a powerful force that can be relied on unconditionally, which may come from oneself, or something that he has completely controlled.
Push
It is the absolute decision maker who are brave, impulsive and cowardly, playing the both roles as perpetrator and receiver. It can bear all results no matter what they are, it pushes itself from behind with the strong figure.
Role: Orphan / LGBT Venue: Garden (in the emotional satisfaction) Awakening: Honest people will be honest, life is a struggle. He doesn't think much about the days of his life, because God has made him happy in his heart, please seize this day.
Role: Hibernator (eyes with wrinkles, can also be seen as light) Venue: Home (in the process continuous pupation) Awakening: Please enjoy the present happiness, we live in a world full of suffering, and these joys support us all the time.
Role: Alien / Driver (half face with sharp wings) Venue: Aircraft/ Coach (in driving) Awakening: He looks at everyone and feels that he has come back from his dream. He sees tears in many people's eyes, he can’t ignore their love.
Role: Decision maker / Corporate slave Venue: Elevator (somewhere need to obey certain rules, but can change direction flexibly) Awakening: Do I live for this world or the world that will come?
Role: Dangerous wise man (with naked brain, hollow eyes and wings) Venue: Anywhere (as he can fly without sign) Awakening: There will be the throne of God and lamb in the city, no more curse and dark.
Role: Volunteer (the hermit's hat is broken) Venue: Church (in religious activities) Awakening: I have always believed that there is a very clear and relatively simple path to spiritual growth, but I still feel that there are some important things you have to know and obey.
Role: Optimist / Negativist ( who holds the gun to face) Venue: Vanity / Futility Awakening: The world is manipulated by setbacks, and we just can't be sure whether our words and deeds are correct in some cases.
Role: 30 / 70 years old (aging face with enlarged facial features) Venue: Shell ( be eager to get rid of the old model) Awakening: When the house collapsed, the apricot trees were still blooming and fruiting, and the grasshopper was still living a happy life.
External Card is to describe the st a te a n d b e h a v i o r, referring to Rider Waite Tarot.
Internal Card is to define the role and awakening, referring to little prince Tarot and the book of Ecclesiastes.
Mirror Card is to
predict direction and give suggestion. Mirror Card is the mirror image o f External Card a nd Internal Card, like looking in the mirror. It can be the extension or completely reflection of the basic card, depending on the forward and reverse position.
