Football Fans... Welcome to another exciting season of Yellowjacket football at Rochester Community and Technical College! On behalf of the football team, coaches, students, faculty, and staff, thank you for your support. As the President of this great institution, I am excited for what the year holds for our student athletes, both on and off the field. I am also very excited for what our future holds as we mark 100 years of providing accessible, affordable, quality learning opportunities to serve a diverse and growing community. I hope you are able to return to the campus throughout the year to participate in the many celebrations scheduled for our Centennial. In addition to celebrating our history, we are also excited to provide to our student athletes a college experience typically found at four-year universities. Thanks to the support of our local community, the Rochester Regional Stadium is currently experiencing growth, including the expansion of our spectator seating to 5,000, added changing rooms, and expansion of the press box and videotaping facilities. Once the upgrades are complete, the home of the Yellowjackets will be even bigger and better than before. In addition to the excellent athletic facilities, students on our campus may also choose from a variety of other student life programs to make life-long connections with other students, develop leadership and life skills, and of course, be part of the most extensive varsity sports program of any public two-year college in the state. So while on campus, feel free to tour the entire campus, study in our library, view our artwork, or just walk the grounds. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll find at RCTC. Again, thank you for your support, and GO YELLOWJACKETS!
Leslie R. McClellon, RCTC President

2015 OFFICIAL SEASON PROGRAM
2015 Rochester Yellowjacket Football Staff Head Football Coach—Bill Quistorff is going into his sixth season coaching at RCTC. He began his coaching career at RCTC in 2010 coaching the defensive line. He has also coached the linebackers and was the Defensive Coordinator for two years, leading the defense to the #1 defense in the MCAC and also ranked in the top ten NJCAA both years in that position. Last season was Coach Q’s second year at the helm, and the team finished with an overall record of 8-4 while winning the MCAC championship over team rival Central Lakes Community College for the second year in a row. He also led the team to the Graphic Edge Bowl vs. Iowa Central Community College in the feature game of the event. Coach Quistorff was named Region 13 Coach of the Year for the second straight year and is going into his third season at the helm of the RCTC Yellowjacket Football Program. Coach Quistoff is originally from Osakis, MN where he was a three-sport letter winner and helped lead his football team to the state tournament semi-finals two years in a row. He was an All-State running back as well as an All-State defensive back. He still holds school rushing records for yards in a season (1804) and carries in a season (273). Coach Quistorff is a former Yellowjacket linebacker who was part of the state championship team and played in The Heart of Texas Bowl in 2003. Bill was All-Region HM and a team captain at linebacker in 2006. In 2006, he graduated with an AA Degree from RCTC then went on to finish his college football career at Bemidji State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education in May 2010. Bill currently works in the Rochester School District and continues to play football as a linebacker in the NEFL for the St Paul Pioneers and is a defensive league leader in tackles and first team all-star for three consecutive seasons. “I am extremely excited to build off the foundation that was built in the last two seasons. We ended the season with a great display of character, brotherhood and heart in The Graphic Edge Bowl. Our goal for this year is to take our talents to the next level and compete with the best teams in the nation for an overall National Championship.” ~Coach Quistorff Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator—Rob Neumann will be entering his third season with the Yellowjackets. In 2013, Neumann coached the wide receivers and quarterbacks, and in 2014 he was the co-offensive coordinator of an offense that ranked near the top of the country in many offensive categories. He helped design a high-tempo passing offense that broke nearly every school record in the books last year – more than 4000 yards passing and 50 touchdowns – along with several individual records as well. In 2015, Neumann will take on the added title of Assistant Head Coach, as well as being the Offensive Coordinator for the high-powered Jacket offense. Neumann is a 1999 graduate of Lester Prairie High School in Lester Prairie, MN. In high school, he was a 3-sport athlete, including all-conference mentions in football and track, and still holds the school records for receiving yards (578) and touchdowns (12) in a single season. After high school, Neumann was a wide receiver for the University of Minnesota-Crookston in 1999-2000 and also competed several years at the semi-professional level after college. Previously, he had been an assistant coach at Winsted Holy Trinity High School, Lester Prairie High School, was a student assistant at St Cloud State for spring football in 2011, and has spent the past six years as an offensive coordinator/assistant for the St Paul Pioneers, a semi-professional team in St Paul, MN. With the Pioneers, Neumann has been a part of five league championships (2010-2014), two national championships (2012, 2014), and his offenses have consistently ranked among the best in the country. Neumann resides in Rochester, where he works as a property manager, and is currently completing his business degree through Winona State University. Defensive Backs Coach—Jake Lindsey is entering his second year as a coach at RCTC. He is originally from Washburn, WI, where he attended Washburn High School and was a three-sport athlete. He was a four-year All Conference baseball player, two-year all conference basketball, and All State football player. He also holds the all-time Wisconsin state record for rushing yards in a game with 24 carries, 442 yards, and 6 touchdowns. He accepted a football scholarship to UMC after high school but transferred to RCTC after the 2004 season. Jake helped lead the Jackets to a State Championship in 2005. After the 2005 academic year he made the decision to serve his country and joined the United States Army, where he served six years of duty and was deployed to Iraq in 2008-2009. Jake is in his 11th season in the NEFL, the last four being with the St. Paul Pioneers where he helped lead them to three straight league titles and a National Championship. He was named to the 1st team all-conference in nine of his ten seasons. Jake currently resides in St. Paul, MN. — Page 4 —

In 2015 Michael’s role will be helping out with any roles assigned by Coach Quistorff and Coach Ties. Michael is from Brooklyn Park, MN, and graduated from Osseo High School where he played football under Derrin Lamker. 2015 OFFICIAL SEASON PROGRAM
RCTC is large enough to be able to provide countless opportunities for students to take their college experience beyond the traditional classroom. But RCTC is small enough for students to immediately engage and become actively involved. Performing arts, sports and fitness, student clubs and organizations provide RCTC students with more options than you would expect at a two-year college. For the most up-to-date student clubs and organizations listing, visit us online at: www.rctc.edu/studentlife/clubs/
