2018-19 WRESTLING SEASON PROGRAM

YELLOWJACKET WRESTLING STAFF Randy Rager – Head Coach is still the alltime winningest wrestler in NCAA DII History with 162 collegiate wins while wrestling for the University of Minnesota-Morris in the late 90's. He was a three-time Academic AllAmerican and two-time MVP for the U of M Morris. Randy completed his undergraduate degree from the University of MinnesotaMorris and has completed two Master's Degrees from St. Cloud State University. Rager was an assistant coach at SCSU from 2001-2004 and has been very involved in USA Wrestling Clubs since 2000. In his time at RCTC, Rager has coached two NJCAA National Champions, 16 NJCAA All-Americans, 79 NJCAA National Qualifiers, and several Academic All-Americans. In 2014 and 2017, Rager coached the RCTC Yellowjackets to a NJCAA D-III National Championship, and was voted as the Coach of the Year. In 2018, Rager was recognized by his peers as the NJCAA "Man of the Year." The Yellowjackets were MCAC Champions in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.

Coach – Travis Rutt is in his first season of coaching at Rochester Community and Technical College. Previously he was at the University of Iowa where he was the strength and conditioning coach for the wrestling team and the Hawkeye Wrestling Club. During his time at Iowa Travis was on a staff that coached two national champions and four big ten champions and a team that placed in the top five at the NCAA tournament every year he was on staff. The Hawkeye Wrestling Club produced a World silver medalist, Olympian and U23 World Team Member. Prior to Iowa he was a part of the 2015 Augsburg National Championship coaching staff. As an athlete Travis was an All-American for the University of Wisconsin badgers and was Minnesota’s most winningest wrestler at the time of graduation. Travis lives in Lakeville with his wife, Michele, and daughter, Amilia.

YELLOWJACKET WRESTLERS Noah Berg is from Lakeville, Minn., and wrestled for Farmington High School. In high school Noah was a twotime letter winner. His family includes his parents Jaclyn and Stepdad John. His major is Liberal Arts and he plans on becoming a physical education and health teacher. Noah’s favorite food is pizza rolls and his favorite movie is Walk the Line. He came to RCTC to continue his wrestling career and complete his generals. Caleb Clobes is from Madelia, Minn., and wrestled for Lake Crystal-Welcome Memorial Area High School. In high school, Caleb was a Minnesota state entrant and place winner. Caleb’s family includes his parents Heidi and Chad Clobes, and siblings Chelsea and CaleyAnn. In his free time, he enjoys ice fishing, watching Netflix, and hanging out. His favorite movie is Wolf of Wallstreet. Caleb’s major is building utilities mechanic, and he decided on RCTC for the athletics and academic program. Jeremiah Colòn is from Madelia, Minn., and wrestled for Lake Crystal-Welcome Memorial Area High School. In high school, Jeremiah was a four-time Minnesota state entrant and two-time state place winner. Jeremiah’s family includes his parents Eric and Tamara Colòn, along with his siblings: Eric, Melody, and Jacob. In his free time, he enjoys driving around and hanging out with friends. His favorite food is sushi. Jeremiah’s major is building utilities mechanic. He came to RCTC for the great programs, school, and wrestling. Logan Donais is from Big Lake, Minn., and wrestled for Big Lake High School. In high school Logan was a two-time Minnesota state entrant. His family includes his parents Keith and Becky, along with his brother Deven and sister — Page 2 —

Kayla. In his free time, Logan enjoys fishing, hunting, and playing disc golf. His favorite food is tacos and favorite movie is Pulp Fiction. Logan’s major is sports management, and he chose RCTC for the great wrestling program. Gregory Fischer is from De Forest, Wis., and wrestled for De Forest High School. In high school Gregory qualified for the Wisconsin state wrestling tournament. His family includes his parents Greg and Jackie, along with his siblings: Lauren, Brandon, Teagen, and Gaby. In Gregory’s free time he enjoys boating, fishing, and working out. His favorite food is sushi and favorite show is The Office. He is major is biology and he plans on transferring to a four-year school after RCTC. Gregory came to RCTC because of the wrestling coaching staff and academics. Auston Hall is from Greenville, S.C., and wrestled at Berea High School. While in high school Auston was a South Carolina state champion and holds the school record for most wins at Berea. As a freshman at RCTC, Auston was a Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) state champion, North District champion, and a National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national qualifier. Auston’s family includes his parents Lee and Lisa, along with his siblings: Reggie, Ashton, and Laci. His favorite food is grilled chicken and favorite movie is Water Boy. Auston’s major is law enforcement and he came to RCTC to win a national title.


ROCHESTER YELLOWJACKETS Isaac Haman is from Kasson, Minn., and wrestled for Kasson-Mantorville high school. While at K-M Isaac was a two-time Minnesota state place winner. Isaac’s family includes his parents Greg and Lori Haman, and his sister Danica. His favorite food is pancakes and favorite movie is Pulp Fiction. Isaac’s major is social work, and he came to RCTC because it is close to home, affordable, and a fun atmosphere. Dillon McGee is from Nevis, Minn., and wrestled for Walker-Hackensack-Akeley/Nevis. In high school Dillon was a three-time Minnesota state entrant and two-time place winner. His family includes his parents David and Rhonda McGee, along with his siblings: Sam, Dustin, and Dawson. Dillon’s favorite movie is Trailer Park Boys and his favorite food is French toast. His major is building utilities mechanic (BUM) and he came to RCTC for the BUM program and wrestling. Elijah Hollins is from Rochester, Minn., and wrestled at John-Marshall. While in high school, Elijah was a twotime Minnesota state entrant, placing his senior year. As a freshman at RCTC, Elijah was an NJCAA national qualifier. Elijah’s family includes his mother Dana Hollins and three siblings: Leareem, Jerimiah and Janrah. His favorite movie is 21 Jump Street. Elijah’s major is business administration, and he came to RCTC because of the wrestling program and coaching staff. Parker Huss is from Jordan, Minn., and wrestled for Scott West. While in high school Parker was a three-time Minnesota state entrant placing twice, Fargo All-American, and a member of the all-state team. As a freshman at RCTC, Parker was an NJCAA national qualifier. His family includes his parents Jodi and Robert, along with his brothers Chris, Tim, and Jon. Parker’s favorite team is the Minnesota Vikings and his favorite food is chicken alfredo. He is a liberal arts major at RCTC and came to the College to complete his generals and continue wrestling. Alex LaPierre is from Roseville, Minn. He is a Minnesota state entrant and was on the all-conference team. His family includes his parents Steve and Joy, along with his siblings Emma and Jake. His favorite movie is Pineapple Express and his favorite food is Pad Thai food. At RCTC Alex is majoring in law enforcement. He came to RCTC to continue his wrestling career while completing his degree in law enforcement. Paris Phillips-Larkin is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and wrestled at Winton Woods High School. He has a sister named Mackenzie. His major is business and in his free time he enjoys singing, cooking, and playing Madden. His favorite food is Buffalo Wild Wings. The reason he came to RCTC is for the academics and athletic programs. Pedro Lopez III is from La Crescent, Minn. His family includes his parents Carol and Pedro Lopez, along with his siblings: Kaylee, Tony, and Andy. His favorite food is Mexican food and favorite movie is Never Back Down. Pedro’s major is health sciences and he came to RCTC because the wrestling program has great coaches and the school is a good place close to home to start. — Page 3 —

Kyle Mitchell is from Dodge Center, Minn., and wrestled for Triton High School. His family includes his mother Tina Vigesaa. In Kyle’s free time he enjoys exercising. His favorite food is Buffalo Wild Wings and favorite movie is The Conjuring. Kyle is a liberal arts major, and decided on RCTC because of the role models, leadership in academics, and wrestling. Morgen Moreno is from Hayfield, Minn., and wrestled for Hayfield High School. While in high school he was a two-time Minnesota state qualifier and state place winner. His family includes his parents Larry and Corina, along with four brothers: Matt, Myles, Mason, and Max. In Morgen’s free time he enjoys wrestling and helping the elementary football and wrestling programs. His major is building utilities mechanic, and he chose RCTC because of the wrestling coaches and program. Darell Noble is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and wrestled at Winton Woods High School. His family includes his mom Kieya and 10 siblings. His major at RCTC is sports management. Darell’s favorite movie is Liar Liar and his favorite food is just about anything. Darell came to RCTC to continue wrestling and continue his academics. Matt Riley is from Pine Island, Minn., and wrestled for Pine Island High School. Matt’s family includes his mother Erica Riley and his sister Izzy. In his free time, Matt enjoys hunting, fishing, wrestling, and hanging out with friends. His favorite food is pasta. Matt’s major is building utilities mechanic, and he decided on RCTC because it is close to home and it is a good opportunity to continue wrestling. Braxton Roberson is from Greenville, S.C., and wrestled at Berea High School. While in high school he was a twotime S.C. state finalist and S.C. state champion. Braxton also competed in freestyle and Greco, and won state titles in both styles. His family includes his parents Tina and Tyrone Roberson, along with four siblings: Brandon, Tyrone Jr., Bryan, and Bethany. In his free time Braxton enjoys listening to music and working on getting better at wrestling. His favorite food is crab legs. Braxton’s major is dental hygiene, and he decided on RCTC so he could wrestle for coach Rager and coach Rutt. Shane Siewert is from Lake City, Minn. While in high school Shane was a three-time Minnesota state place winner and 2015 Minnesota state champion. As a freshman at RCTC, Shane was an MCAC state champion, North District champion, and NJCAA national qualifier. His family includes his parents Todd and Wendy, along with his sisters Carley and Taylor. Shane is in the building utilities mechanic program at RCTC. His favorite food is ice cream and his favorite movie is Jumper. Shane came to RCTC because he was recruited by coach Rager and for the BUM program.


2018-19 WRESTLING SEASON PROGRAM Jalen Thul is from Apple Valley, Minn. In high school Jalen was a two-time Minnesota state entrant and two-time state place winner. He was a member of Apple Valley’s five-time Minnesota state championship team. While at Apple Valley Jalen was a two-time team captain and MVP. His family includes his parents Kari Quitter and Carey Thul, along with his sister Jordan. Jalen’s favorite food is a cheeseburger and fries. His major at RCTC is liberal arts and he plans on completing a degree in special education. Jalen came to RCTC because he felt it was a great opportunity to succeed athletically and academically. Ryker VanderWoude is from Jackson, Minn., where he wrestled for Jackson County Central. While at Jackson County Ryker was a member of two state championship teams. Individually, Ryker was a two-time Minnesota state entrant. His family includes his parents Rick and Lisa, along with his sisters Corri and Jossi. His major at RCTC is Business and his favorite sports team is the Minnesota Twins. His favorite food is his grandma’s home cooked cheesy potatoes. Ryker came to RCTC because it is very affordable. Hunter Wardell is from Muscoda, Wisconsin and went to high school at Fennimore. At Fennimore he was a member of the 2016 Wisconsin state championship team and 2017 state runner-up team. Individually, Hunter is a Wisconsin state place winner and was awarded the perseverance award by his team. His family includes his parents Troy and

Heidi, along with his brother Kohl. His favorite movie is Central Intelligence and his favorite team is the Dallas Cowboys. Hunter came to RCTC because of the BUM program, and the tradition of a great wrestling team. Brock Wulf is from Sioux Falls, S.D. and wrestled for Washington High School. At Washington he was a two-time S.D. state entrant placing his senior year. His family includes his parents Chris and Kari Wulf, along with his siblings Reilly and Reagan. Brock enjoys knitting and completing crosswords puzzles in his free time. Brock’s favorite food is cereal. His major is law enforcement, and he decided to come to RCTC for the academics and wrestling program. Tyler Zeman is from La Grange Park, Ill., and wrestled for Lyons Township High School. While in high school, Tyler had 140 wins while being four-time all-conference and an Illinois state place winner. His family includes his parents Matt and Tricia Zeman, along with siblings Matt, Ben, and Aleigh. In his free time Tyler enjoys running and fishing. His favorite movie is The Departed and favorite food is pizza. Tyler is currently undecided for a major, and decided to come to RCTC for the academics and wrestling program.
