Football Fans... Welcome to another season of Yellowjacket football at Rochester Community and Technical College! On behalf of the football team, coaches, students, faculty, and staff, thank you for your support. I also welcome you to the Rochester Regional Stadium, home of the Yellowjacket football and soccer teams, numerous high school and youth teams, and a wide variety of athletic competitions and community activities. This beautiful facility is only possible because of the City of Rochester, local community organizations, and fund-raising efforts of our Foundation. RCTC has a strong history of providing rich, whole-person college experiences typically found at four-year universities, and on our campus students can choose from a variety of student life programs to make connections with other students, develop leadership and life skills, and of course, be part of the most extensive varsity sports program of any public two-year college in the state. So while on campus, feel free to tour the facilities, study in our library, view our artwork, or just walk the grounds. You’ll be amazed at what you will find at the University Center Rochester campus. Thank you for your support, and GO YELLOWJACKETS!

RCTC is large enough to be able to provide countless opportunities for students to take their college experience beyond the traditional classroom. But RCTC is small enough for students to immediately engage and become actively involved. Performing arts, sports and fitness, student clubs and organizations provide RCTC students with more options than you would expect at a two-year college. Title IX Statement: It is the policy of Rochester Community and Technical College not to discriminate on the basis of race, creed, national or ethnic origin, age, marital status, sex or handicap as required by Title IX of the 1972 Educational Amendments or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as applied in admissions policies, educational programs, activities and employment practices. The designated Affirmative Action Officer is the Chief Human Resources Officer. The designated coordinator for compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 is the Director of Disability Services. The Director of Disability Services is also the designated coordinator for compliance with Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972. OCR Corrective Actions: Lack of English skills should not be a barrier to admission or participation. In order to eliminate barriers we take appropriate measures to assess each student’s ability to participate and benefit through placement testing and counseling. Based on the assessment and counseling, students are then provided with campus services or a referral to community services to be better prepared for successful participation.
