How to Setup your PC and Monitor Quick User Setup Guide


1. You should have the following materials: 1. Laptop 2. Keyboard/Mouse 3. Docking Station 4. Monitor 5. HDMI Dongle 6. USB Headset 7. Power Cords 2. Start by Setting up your Docking Station and plugging in the power to it.

Use the USB Ports for your keyboard and mouse (#1). Plug in your Monitor and HDMI cable into the Mini DisplayPort (#2). Use the Gigabit Ethernet ports (#4) to hard wire your internet. Plug your USB Headset into your Dock (#1) or Laptop for calls/meetings.

How to connect your monitor

Docking Station. You will want to plug the dongle into the mini DisplayPort.

Mini DisplayPort dongle. You want the small end to plug into the docking station (see red circle to the left).

DisplayPort cable. You will want one end to plug into the monitor and the other end into the other end of the dongle.


Connect your Docking Station to your Laptop Ensure that you connect the docking station into the side of the PC. On Surface tablets it is on the right side of the screen, and on the laptops the plug is on the right side of the keyboard on the base of the PC.
