Visible Light transmission (VLT)

As well as different styles, our goggles come in different frame sizes. Ready to fit all face shapes:

Silicone coating on the inside of the straps means they don’t slide around or ride up.

Savor’s lenses curve horizontally while remaining flat vertically. They’re quality polycarbonate double lenses with awesome clarity and a cool mirrored finish. Cylindrical lenses offer great performance at a slightly lower price.

Color has no impact on the quality of a lens. However, the lens color does protect eyes from glare and maximizes visibility. How much depends on the percentage of visible light allowed through the lens. This is rated from in five categories from 0 to 4 – and all our lenses fall between categories 1 and 3.

Medium Fit Revel M and Savor, will fit most people. Small Fit Revel S, for younger skiers and adults with slimmer faces.

Live Fit Revel and Savor are the first two goggles to feature Live Fit. With flexible Y-Cuts on the frame and an automatic Adaptive Foam seal, it instantly molds to the contours of your face for complete comfort all day long. A perfect, personal fit, right out of the box.

Articulated outriggers We’ve designed the frame shape of our goggles so they fit our helmets perfectly without any gaps. Our top goggles also feature articulated outriggers. These flexible hinges on the side make sure the strap sits nicely around the helmet, and that pressure is evenly distributed across the face to provide a complete seal.

Spherical Zeiss Lenses Revel’s spherical lenses curve horizontally and vertically around your face, giving the goggles a cool bubbled look. Because they’ve come from the world’s leading lens supplier, they have brilliant clarity of vision.

UV PROTECTION UV Filters UV rays are the most dangerous of the sun’s rays. Even on cloudy days you can be exposed to a lot of UV rays up the mountain, and it can cause all sorts of damage to your eyes. As a result all our lenses filter out 100% of UV rays – whether they’re tinted, dark or mirrored.

Lens Categories Cat 0: These filters are a pale color or appear as a very light tint. They allow 81% to 100% of visible light through the lens. Cat 1: These are slightly tinted and allow 43% to 80% of visible light through the lens. Recommended for low light in winter or overcast days. Cat 2: These allow 18% to 42% of visible light through the lens. Effective protection in average sunlight conditions. Cat 3: These are perfect for most conditions and will provide excellent protection from the sun. They allow 8% to 17% of visible light through the lens. Cat 4: The most powerful category, allowing only about 3% of visible light through the lens. They are only necessary in extremely bright conditions, like when hiking on glaciers or in high mountains.

All our lenses feature Class 1 optics. It means they offer 100% UVA/B protection. They’re anti scratch and anti fog. They comply with standards EN1836, AINSI Z80.AS/NZS 1067 for high-impact resistance. And they also come in a range of finishes:

The very latest anti-static, hydrophobic and oleophobic coating. It hardens the lens to make it super smooth, resistant and durable, without altering the color at all.

A multilayered mirror finish increases protection from glare and reduces eye fatigue. The perfect balance between style and performance.

Photochromic

Polarized

Our exclusive Photochromic lenses respond to changing light conditions by adjusting the level of tint. When it’s dark they get lighter. When the sun comes out they get darker to protect you from glare. So you’ve always got the perfect lens tint for any condition – without having to change a thing.

Our special Polarized lenses filter out rays that hit the lens at an angle of 450. Importantly, this includes reflected light off water and snow. This extra protection prevents glare and makes skiing in bright light much more comfortable and safe.

This subtle mirror coating is applied to the outside surface of the lens for durability and great visibility in all weaher conditions.

Active Dual ZONE Venting

The secret of Live Fit is the breathable PORON XRD memory foam. Featured on Mentor, Nomad and Affinity models, as soon as you put on your helmet, the memory foam instantly adapts to the shape of your head, creating a personalized fit and maximizing comfort.

There are two types of hard shell: a full ABS shell that protects the sides, top and back of your head, including ears. And a half ABS shell with soft or no ear pads. Our Redsters have full shells – including a new Kevlar/ glass-fiber version on Redster WC. Nomad, Affinity, Savor and all our other kids’ range feature a half shell. All provide ultimate high-impact protection without weighing you down.

This system allows the skier to independently control the ventilation in the front and back of the helmet. Used on our Nomad and Affinity helmets.

All our All Mountain helmets, kids’ helmets and Troop SL feature an adaptive fit system. This lets you manually fine-tune your fit throughout the day.

Our Troop helmets feature a simple, comfortable fit for any shape of head, and in a variety of sizes.

Our Xeed helmet features a unique combination of ABS hard shell and in-mold construction. It combines the best of both: maximum shock absorption and optimized weight.

Mentor and Xeed helmets feature a single zone vent system, with an adjuster that allows you to control ventilation over your whole head.

Mentor helmets are constructed directly in the mold. The EPS foam is molded into the PC shell, which results in the lightest construction in the market.

A built-in system used on Redster, Savor, Troop and our kids’ helmets. Basic but effective, it creates a constant air flow for a perfect regulation all day long.
