The unique performance of our products is achieved by shapes and technologies, which have sprung from the experience of company founder Mark Farner. The snowboard pioneer, formerly a long-term and successful World Cup rider, is president and expert of the Swiss Snowboard School SSBS. Year after year with passion, conviction and enthusiasm, Mark and his Radical team develop new shapes and construction methods, better mixtures and material compositions with the only aim of achieving a better performance and ride. Our philosophy, however, always remains the same: Only the very best performance, technologies, materials, manufacturing processes and designs are good enough. The result is our range of timeless and durable boards that offer a perfect ride.
Radical Technology Radical is the only board and ski company in the world to exclusively use a pure carbon/Kevlar sandwich construction with only the best materials. Naturally, we also use the fastest graphite race bases with outstanding anti-static characteristics that make Radical boards and skis run faster and turn more easily. A smart carbon fibre topsheet turns every Radical board and ski into an object of captivating beauty. All Radical models are handmade in limited editions and built with love.. Sustainability Ecological sustainability has always been a key concern for Radical: Environmental issues are considered in the choice of raw materials, our processes and packaging materials. All Radical models are handmade with cores from native woods and cover very short transport distances. Thanks to the unique carbon/Kevlar construction with a lifelong guarantee on flex and camber on our snowboards, our products offer an incredibly long lifespan. Our skis feature wider steel edges, thus giving them even more longevity.
Custom Dream Boards Every board is produced as a unique one-off product, which is exactly matched to the blueprint of its rider. The result is an individually and perfectly customised ski or snowboard – absolute satisfaction guaranteed!
New Models 2013/14 Lion Splitboard 62 With the super light Lion Splitboard you can climb not only much easier, thanks to the great Lion performance we also guarantee that your downhill ride will be maximal fun. Tip rocker with traditional camber and torsion reinforcements give the board optimal powder lift combined with very good stability and edge grip. Thanks to the Lion shape it’s very easily and playfully to ride, even in worst circumstances. The lightest Splitboard of the world is hand made with Radical’s newest Super Light Technologie. Because experts deserve more! Lion 57, 66 Wide You can ride a Lion pretty much shorter in length then a normal Snowboard model, without loosing any lift in powder. Tip-rocker and a strong V-shape let it float even in metres high snow without the slightest effort. On hard slopes you have a perfect edge grip thanks to the torsion reinforcement. Tip rocker combined with traditional camber and a strong sidecut allow best lift, very good stability and playful agility. Tours get to be a pure pleasure because of the super light weight. The best board for you! Lady Lion 50, 55 Finally the Lion is also available for women in two lengths. Specialy developed for female’s anatomie, we built it soft in flex and torsion and made it amasingly easy to handle and to turn. Thanks to the V-shape, tip rocker and strong sidecut it floats effortless even in very high fresh-fallen snow and turns nearly automatilly. Built in affectionate handcraft in our Superlight construcion it’s probbly one of the lightest and liveliest freeride lady snowboards of the world.
