MIMO MIMO
The Fontainebleau Hotel: Located at 4441 Collins Avenue, the Fontainebleau Hotel is one of Miami Beach's most famous hotels and an icon of the Mime style It was designed by architects Morris Lapidus and Milton D Schwartz in 1954 When commissioned to design the Fontainebleau Hotel, Lapidus envisioned a space that would evoke the elegance and glamor of Hollywood and provide a visual and emotional experience for visitors
This Mural was made in 1985. The first time I saw it was in 1986, when I was only 12 years old, it already caused me a lot of admiration! It was destroyed in 2002 to create the entrance for the new residential towers. It is a pity. I felt a great emptiness when driving through Collins I didn't see him anymore This mural gave you the feeling of entering the Hotel with your car from the avenue! A true work of art that in our opinion should have endured!
