Principal Peter Butcher said the September results had placed it in the top 10 for Ray White in New South Wales for exchanged sales. “We have enjoyed some great benefits from joining the Ray White Group and it has been a tremendous partnership for our business,” he said. Mr Butcher said the results for Ray White Lismore Real Estate showed increasing confidence in the real estate sector. “ I think consumer confidence is returning with the realisation unemployment is not going to get to the predicted levels and I think that’s feeding people’s confidence,” he said. Ray White NSW CEO Stephen Nell said Ray White Lismore Real Estate had made a significant contribution to the strong performance of the group during the June through September quarter. “The results over the last four months in particular have been very pleasing with sales of well in excess of $650 million each month, which shows that the market has well and truly recovered from any downturn in activity,” Mr Nell said. Mr Butcher said the power of the Ray White name was reflected by independent research which found it to be the nation’s most searched real estate brand online. Real estate technology website Business 2 has revealed the findings after using a Google reporting tool to compare the major Australian property brands.The Google Insights for Search report showed Ray White rated 79 on a scale of 0-100, based on data normalised from absolute search volume numbers. Report author Glenn Batten said this was well ahead of Ray White’s major competitors LJ Hooker (46) and First National (26). Ray White Joint Chairman Brian White said that with consumers increasingly willing to search for real estate online, the Google Insights for Search results are a strong endorsement from the public of the power of the Ray White Group.
