As a student at Reaseheath College you’ll benefit from 100 years of expertise, as we have been teaching students since 1921.

The earliest record we have for our campus is 1538, when the ‘Rees Heeth’ land as it was then called, was first bought. We also know that cheese was already being made here in 1624! Our stunning Reaseheath Hall, which was constructed mid-18th century, is a central part of our campus and still keeps many of its original features today. Alongside our history, we also invest a lot into our campus to have the best, leading-edge equipment, including our brand-new vertical farming facility, robotic milking system and much more.

We’re proud of our history and how our campus and courses have developed over time. A lot has happened over the past 100 years since we starting teaching, just some of which you can see in our timeline and photos below.

1988 1991 2005 2010 2021

We launched our first higher education programme. HRH Princess Margaret opened the new milking parlour and viewing gallery at Hall Farm. HRH Prince of Wales visited the Food Technology department. Her Majesty, The Queen opened the Centrepoint building incorporating main reception, library, student services and learning support. She also opened a major refurbishment at our Equestrian Centre. Investment has resulted in industry standard training facilities such as our Centre for Advanced Engineering and Agri-Technology, robotic milking centre, commercial glasshouses and vertical farm.
