The Cheshire School of Agriculture at Reaseheath was opened (to men only) by Sir Arthur Griffiths Bocawen, Minister of Agriculture.
HRH Prince of Wales (later Duke of Windsor), opened the new women’s hostel, dairy and food buildings.
Over 1,000 Women’s Land Army recruits had completed their courses at the college.
Full time courses resumed post War.
The Cheshire School of Agriculture becomes a college and HRH Princess Anne visits to open the Dairy department building.
