Chosen client type/client The chosen client type from the assessment brief was a make-up Artist.
Harriette Southall Make Up Artist was orginally chosen under the name of “Filii-Noctis� however, the client has under gone a recent name change to go with the re-branding of the company. HS MUA is a fairly new company, starting early April 2015 when founder Harriette Southall became a qualified make up artist. A complete rebrand is t be completed to allow HS MUA appeal to the correct market and gain loyal and great customers.

It was discussed that the old logo (pictured right) doesn’t suggest that it was a Make up Artist, it suggested a Barbie/doll theme instead. This along with the very busy frame, and calligraphy writing was very over bearing. It was time for a change. The entire brief can be found in assessment 2, weekly activities.
Logo- New & Improved
The new and improved logo variations for Harriette Southall MUA. These designs can be changed to any colour and still make an impact. These designs work in greyscale, as well as colour and on dark and light backgrounds. Variations of the logo was used throughout the company branding in accordance to each product.
Moodboard
Colours
Black, pink and white have been chosen for the colour scheme for Harriette Southall MUA as they relate to the mood board, relate to the client and contrast well. These three colours have been chosen as the major colours of the company as they are bold, vibrant and make a good impact on the clients name. The pink works extreamly well with the design of the logo being lipstick.
Type
Constantia:
“The brown cow, eats green grass.”
Constantia was used in the main body of the designs. This font was used in Regular, Bold and Italic.
Brush Script Std:
“The brown cow, eats green grass.” This font was used for certain titles and slogans throughout the brand
Branding - Business Cards and booking confirmation book
Business cards - simple on the back, with a black background and a contrasting logo. Informative on the front with name, and company infomation. The booking note pad works well with the clients needs. This will allow the client to pencil in up coming appointments and make the billing process a lot easier as well.

Packaging- Gift Pack Box
This box will be for a gift set of lipsticks etc. Currently HS MUA do not sell this product. This is just a prodotype. This pack would include 4 different lipstickks of the customers choosing. This box will have a matte finishing.
Packaging- ‘Keepsake Lipstick’ Box This is a lipstick box, for keep sake lipsticks provied to the customer. This box is small and light weight with a matte finish. HS #4

Packaging - Envelope
Envelopes have been incorperated due to invoicing, special promotion letters etc being sent to the customer directly. This is a simple yet effective way of getting the logo, and company brand name into peoples mail boxes .
Packaging - Sticker

Stickers have been included for packaging, for things such as brush holders, brushes themselves, make up bags etc. These stickers will be placed on equipment HS MUA Owns.
Illustrations
These icons have been chosen for the llustation part of the assessment. The clock stands for “availability”, the phone stands for “bookings” the keys stand for the company being mobile and the lips stand for “services” the company provides. These icons can be seen on the FAQ page on the website.
Webdesign -Home Home page has links and directions to all aspects of the website. This is easily navigated and easy to use on both desktop and phone.
Webdesign - About me The about me section of the website includes exclusive information about Harriette, director and make up artist. This includes her favourite make up, her passions etc. The page is simple yet effective for its purpose.
Website - FAQ
The FAQ section of the webpage has 4 frequently asked questions. These questions are highlighted with the illustrated icons mentioned previously. Clean and simple page.
Weddings
The wedding section of the website provides information of what wedding packages are available. It also provides a gallary of previously worked weddings showing that HS MUA has experience. Simple layout.
Webdesign- Beauty and Editorial
Beauty and editorial peices can be found here as a blog type- click on the picture and you can see how to do these techniques. Easy yet effective.
Webdesign- Booking The booking proccess is simple, first you click on the bookings button, next you click the booking package you would like to have. Next you chose a date and time.

Then you enter your details, and submit your booking. Once your booking has been made, a thankyou message will appear.
