Mr. Booker by Aaliyah Hill
Our amazing, new Principal Mr. Booker came to school March 18, 2019. He has been doing such a great job, this last month as the new principal. He is trying his best to get to know the students and his best in trying to know all the expectations that he needs for this school. It may take him a little while to understand all the things that he needs to know. He will be great for the new incoming 6th-graders.
Leading the school may be tough but it will be easy after you get used to it. There are a lot of rules that the principal needs to know to help the students in this school because being a principle of of over 1,000 students can be very stressful. The students can be very hardheaded and probably won’t listen to any adult at all but, you're just going to have to deal with it. Sometimes the students won’t care who their talking to at all. Kids may be hard to handle, but once you get used to them you would start getting used to their behavior and maybe you can even change it. Elementary school can be way easier to be the principal, but as soon as you’re the principal for a middle school or high school all the kids aren’t nice like they used to be.
When I first met Mr. Booker, I didn’t know that he was going to be our new principal. He looked like to me just a regular man just walking through our school. Mr. Booker is becoming a great principal with only the short time that he has been here. He is looking forward to getting to better know his students of all grades. Every student should try to make a good first impression for the new principal. Mr. Booker is sure to be the next best principal at this school that we ever had.
