This project is a visual metaphor used to describe the feelings of Rebecca Hickman throughout her university experience. Due to travelling home a lot on the train, she has felt that she has been in a type of limbo between Doncaster (family home) and Leeds (university home). She has chosen to explore the route that she takes between these two destinations. Rebecca noticed that not only was she in limbo but the fellow passengers on her train route were also in-between places.
The zine is a sample of images from the book 'Limbo'. I am putting the printed zine onto the trains that follow the route which all the photographs have been taken on. I hope to receive responses about other people's travelling experiences which may lead to an extension of this initial project.
