Rag and Bone no longer use fashion shows
as a means of presenting their new collections to the world.
Marcus Wainwright the CEO of the brand says he is less about showing the world what they should wear, but wants to spark creativity and the idea of creative freedom.
Runway shows were no longer a challenge for the brand, and didn’t contribute to building the brands equity.
For NYFW they hosted a dinner and invited celebrities and other fashion creatives. The clothes were displayed by each of the guests wearing an outfit personally chosen by Wainwright from the new collection.
