STUDIO PRACTICE Project Proposal Name Blog Address Rebecca Williamson Date Rationale Authorial process: Campaign: Child tooth removal 'at crisis point', doctors warn. Create a campaign that will be used to inform and warn people about the current dental crisis regarding the welfare of children dental care. The campaign needs to target children yet still put across the severity of the message to parents. The campaign would exist as a children’s pack, which will encourage children to take care of their teeth and inform them on how to do so. It will also have advice on what foods are good for their teeth and what foods to avoid. To keep them entertained and determined to look after there teeth, goal charts and activity sheets will be included. The pack could be used in dental practices and health environments; it could also be given to children at the dentist to take home. Why I have chosen this brief: I have only taken part in one brief that is aimed at children (Alice in Wonderland brief) as I prefer producing work with a more serious/delicate tone, however I really enjoyed the brief as it allowed me to have more fun with colour and childlike, fun compositions. However, as this is a serious matter that needs to be aimed at children, I think it will be a completely new challenge. I also feel it will demonstrate my ability to be more versatile within my practice, showing I can work for commercial briefs as well as more personal briefs.
