i initially started this illustration using paper-cut which was very fiddly and time consuming! if i was to do it again i would definitely do it on a bigger scale so the pieces i needed to cut out wouldn't be s small and tricky, i would then scale it down on Photoshop to the required size. though it was tricky i still think paper-cut is the most effective way to show the block silhouette colours and shapes. on Photoshop i have added the other parts of the logo such as the tree trunk and boarder.
though the colours are a key element of the Chelsea flower show logo, when adding the colour logo to the main illustration, it caused to much of a contrast against the other monochrome pieces. This piece is already dissimilar from the other motif illustrations due to its illustrative style (paper-cut and not pencil drawn) therefore i think making it black and white is needed to allow the pieces to blend and work together as a whole.
