I t -EDID IT FOR THE GRAM.

Don’t compare yourself.

DISSERTATION My third year self devised project was an opportunity to develop a brand that I was passionate about. The ‘I Edit it for the Gram’ campaign targets female students studying at university experiencing self comparison issues as a result of social media, pinpointing ways to boost their self esteem, body confidence and general mental well-being

Mock-up's

The campaign would be integrated into key university events, targeting first year female students. Firstly, through the use of branded stickers, that would be provided in the first year welcome week packs and also through ‘freebies’ comprising key chains and drinking cups (which every fresher loves) at the universities ‘Freshers Fairs’. All the products are aimed at providing awareness, reminding the consumer that images are superficial

STYLED FILMED EDITED The ‘I Edit it for the Gram’ campaign includes a video, showing the process of the edit of the body before posting it on social media. The purpose of the video is to remind the audience that not everything they compare themselves to is real. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7Tux9fJDmE&feature=youtu.be

INFLUENCER FREELANCE

I recently worked for Little Red Rooster PR on a collaboration with Bang & Olufsen recruiting social media influencers for a pending campaign.

ANYA HINDMARCH

I was given the opportunity to work with the luxury accessory designer, Anya Hindmarch, with a brief to increase their brand awareness in the Chinese Market; whilst considering the use of modern technological trends. From this brief, we suggested a collaboration with Anya Hindmarch and the nostalgic 90’s toy Tamagotchi and created a shopping application using augmented reality with the Tamagotchi voice as a personal assistant.

The Products

We developed a product range for Anya Hindmarch to adopt during the Tamagotchi App launch. The range encapsulates the pixel, retro atheistic of the nostalgic game; combined with the luxury handmade products from Anya Hindmarch.

FRED PERRY

The Fred Parry project focused on developing an understanding of subcultures, and bringing them to life through the use of Zine’s. The work we developed as a team encapsulated the history of subcultures, telling stories from the past.

LOVE SICK LONDON

Collaborating with Love Sick London to create a marketing film and photo editorials to showcase their clothing to their demographic.

FRAGRANCE PROJECT The fragrance project allowed us to create a travel fragrance range for Virgin Atlantic, along with a marketing campaign to advertise the products targeting various levels of brand consumers. This included mock-ups of the range and a stop motion film advert.

COMPETITION Brief: ‘Capture the environmental effects on modern consumption. The Royal Society of Biology annual photography competition

This image captures the effect on our natural forests due to modern consumption. Forests cover over 31% of the land area on our planet, producing vital oxygen and providing homes for people and wildlife. However, forests around the world are under threat from deforestation to make room for more farms and urban locations. This impacts people’s livelihoods and threatens a wide range of plant and animal species. We’re losing 18.7 million acres of forests annually, equivalent to 27 soccer fields every minute.
