Time spent in an Indigenous community has given us insight into Shamanic Medicine and a longing to be on our own land which has a history of Aboriginal settlers, first managed by the Yugambeh people before the arrival of European wood cutters in the 1880s.
During the time spent working within the Aboriginal Desert Community in Western Australia, my love of natural herbal remedies opened the opportunities to learn about Bush Medicine and its uses. During this time my innate Shamanic healing modality was activated and heightened.
When we first went to Darwin in 2014, I then had a calling to be on the land.
It was just over 2 years ago hubby and I went to the Outback; we pretty much went off the grid. We lived and worked in the desert in a little place called Punmu in WA; hubby ran the general store and I was the school cook, a job which I found very rewarding. Punmu is a remote Indigenous community in WA.
As time went on I was feeling a deep connection with Shamanic Medicine and started searching for land as a base. We found our land in Beechmont in the Gold Coast Hinterland which backs onto the national park. We started planning how we could both help people and give back by creating a space where people can relax.
Coming back to Queensland and working on different creations and working out a plan how this could work for us, Shamanic Medicine Foundation was born. For most of 2021 we will be hitting the road with Psychic Expo where I will be offering psychic readings and hubby will be running the amazing Normatec Therapy and offering a range of new age products.
Blessings Suizy.
