‘An Anthology of English Church Music’ The Archive is delighted to announce the re-issue of this historic set of forty-seven Columbia 78rpm records made between 1949-1952 Dr Francis Jackson, CBE whose choir at York Minster took part in these seminal recordings has written the forward to the re-issue booklet

Friday 28 Timothy Day, whose book, ‘I saw Eternity the other night: King’s College, Cambridge and an English singing tradition’ is to be published in November, was for many years a music curator in the sound archive of the British Library A retiring collection will be taken after each talk with the proceeds going towards the continuing work of the Archive
