We, the family and staff of
McClish’s Plants Plus Greenhouses extend our sincere wishes for a memorable and joyous Christmas season! We thank you for your confidence in our family business displayed by your friendship, patronage and loyalty. As our busy lives seem to shorten time, the holidays also seem to arrive sooner each year. During our busy springs, we enjoy noticing how nearly everyone’s life makes a temporary slowdown as they browse the greenhouses recognizing the beauty of God’s creation. Creation’s awe and splendor is to glorify our heavenly Creator. Unfortunately, a negative part of our creation is the curse of death as a result of the penalty of sin. Christmas is the time to remember the Creator God’s greatest miracle, the incarnate birth of Jesus the Savior. Personally accepting Christ’s sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection over death enables us to be freed from sin’s spiritual penalty. What a blessing this Christmas could be for you and your family if you decide to accept our Creator’s greatest gift of forgiveness and salvation offered through his Son, Jesus! With Anticipation of a Busy Spring 2013! The family and staff of McClish’s Plants Plus Greenhouses We’ll look forward to seeing you the first day of Spring March 20, 2013

C hildren’s Letters to Santa A Child’s First Christmas By Sylvia M. Bradshaw In a corner of the room a pine tree stands With bows and ribbons and silver strands Lights that glow and at the top a star of gold A wondrous sight for a child to behold. Bundled up, outside I go White and wet Mom calls it ‘snow’ Mom says “all of this do remember Christmas comes once only in December” As Mom holds me tight, I feel her love She tells me “God sent his Son from above He is the promise, He is the reason People everywhere celebrate the season!” A child’s first Christmas full of splendor Help him always to remember So as years go by and he grows That God loves him, always this he will know.
No Room at the Inn By Sylvia M. Bradshaw
Waiting for Santa
Happy Holidays
By Sylvia M. Bradshaw I looked out my window and saw the snow fall Wondering if Santa would come at all For all the year long I tried to be good I know I did bad things and things that I should But being a kid is hard work you know Mom says it will get better the older I grow I want to wait for Santa but I must go to bed While dreams of reindeer play in my head I imagine him flying with a sleigh full of toys Delivering surprises to
all girls and boys I dream he has landed up on my roof Rudolph is pawing with his left hoof Santa jumps out of the sleigh and he is quick Down the chimney he comes, oh so slick Carefully putting presents under the tree I hope he has something there for me All done with this work, up the chimney he goes Then he calls and the reindeer arose Into the cold, starry winter’s night Santa and reindeer continue their flight Bringing presents and smiles Throughout the many, many miles To all children everywhere big or small Saying “Merry Christmas to you, Merry Christmas to all”
“There is a stable out back,” the Innkeeper said. And Joseph took Mary there Gathered the straw and made her a bed. There Mary delivered a baby Boy. Wrapped warm in a manger He lay. While angels in Heaven sang of great joy. The brightest star ever hung over this sight Over this stable to mark the place Where Baby Jesus was born this night!
It was a cold winter night when two travelers came To Bethlehem town Mary and Joseph were their names The time was late; they needed a place to stay They knocked on every door Only to be turned away. Mary was cold and began to shiver “Please,” said Joseph, “any room will do. For you see, my wife Mary, is ready to deliver.”

HAPPY HOLIDAYS The Touch Of The Master’s Hand ‘Twas battered and scarred, and the auctioneer Thought it scarcely worth his while to waste much time on the old violin, But held it up with a smile; “What am I bidden good folks,” he cried, “Who’ll start the bidding for me? “A dollar, a dollar,” then “Two.” Only two? Two dollars, and who’ll make it three? Three dollars, once; three dollars, twice; Going for three -” but no. From the room, far back, a gray-haired man Came forward and picked up the bow; Then, wiping dust from the old violin, And tightening the loose strings, He played a melody pure and sweet As a caroling angel sings. The music ceased, and the auctioneer with a voice that was quiet and low, Said, “What am I bid for the old violin?” And he held it up with the bow, “A thousand dollars, and who’ll make it two? Two thousand And who’ll make it three? Three thousand, once, three thousand twice, and going and gone,” said he. The people cheered, but some of them cried, “We do not quite understand what Changed its worth?” Swift came the reply: “The touch of a master’s hand.” And many a man with life out of tune, And battered and scared with sin, Is auctioned cheap to the thoughtless crowd, Much like the old violin. A “mess of pottage,” a glass of wine; A game - and he travels on. He’s going once, and going twice, But the Master comes, and the foolish crowd Never can quite understand the worth of a soul, the change that’s wrought By the touch of the Master’s hand.
In the spirit of the season, we wish you and your family a happy, healthy holiday filled with lots of good food, good friends and good news.
We feel fortunate to have such good neighbors like you. FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS

C hildren’s Letters to Santa My name is Ryleigh. I’m almost 11 months old and my Nana is helping me write to you.
Dear Santa, My name is Zeller Wayne Kirkpatrick and I am 2 years old. Because I have been so good this year my mommy and daddy are helping me write you this letter.
I don’t understand about Christmas but I love the lights, Christmas tree, music and little baby Jesus.
For Christmas I would like to ask you to bring me a real goldfish, just like the one Elmo has on Sesame Street. I know you have many other children to visit, but if you have room I would also like a set of toy golf clubs.
I would like to have the same toys that my cousin, Chloe, will get, then I won’t want to take hers. Chloe’s toys always look better. Please Santa, remember all the boys and girls all over the world and my mommy, daddy, Uncle Dustin, and my grandma Stacey.
Please don’t forget about my cousins; Brady, Bryson, and Marissa. I will be sure to leave milk and cookies for you, and carrots for your reindeer. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Nana said I could leave you a tree. Thank You Santa, Ryleigh Grace Seitz
Love,
P.S. Santa, I will try not to eat your treat.
