AFFIDAVIT The undersigned Affiant, being duly sworn, deposes and says:
1. The Undersigned, Detective Angelo Stavrides, being duly sworn, does depose and state he is a member of the Meriden Police Department. Furthermore, that he has been a member of said Department for approximately eight years and one month prior to the date hereof, and at all times mentioned herein was acting as a member of said Department, and also the following facts and circumstances are stated from personal knowledge and observation, as well as information received from brother Officers, acting in their official capacities. 2. On September 22,2009, at approximately 0011 hours, Patrol Officers were dispatched to 38 Lincoln Street, 1st. Floor, for a report of a home invasion. Upon arrival Officers identified the following victims; tenant James Boland, his girlfriend, Alicia Acosta, and guests; Diego Agudo, Nicholas Lohman, and Kristin Boutilier. Boland told Officer Kenneth Egan, that everyone was inside watching television, when two black males entered his home, dressed in black clothing, with bandanas covering their faces. Boland stated the males each displayed black handguns, made everyone get on the floor, demand "give me everything", took jewelry, cash, and cell phones, from each person, who had such items in their possession. The suspects also stole various items throughout the apartment, such as a laptop computer, cell phones, video "SIMS" games, etc. The suspects then ordered Acosta and Boutilier to strip naked, and to kiss each other, which they did. The suspects then asked the girls to perform a sex act, and they refused. One ofthe suspects then fondled Boutilier's breasts, and then they both fled, on foot, towards Washington Street. Co~lainari~ames Boland also stated to Officer Egan that he knew that identity of one of the suspects was AdaDfJ3land,'~eet name "Ace". Boland told Officer Egan that Bland lived on Willow Street, and recQgnize~is voice-,. as he "hung out" with Bland, a week prior. Boland also stated that Bland attends Platt Ad@fEduc'atipn, with his girlfriend. Officer Egan relayed this suspect information to the Communications

AFFIDAVIT
The undersigned Affiant, being duly sworn, deposes and says:
Center, who confinned Bland's address as 60 Willow Street, 1st . Floor. Patrol Units were advised of this infonnation and several Officers responded to the area. 4. Officer Erik Simonson responded to the area of 60 Willow Street, and is familiar with Adam Bland, whom he knew from prior law enforcement contact. After approximately 30 minutes of surveillance, Officer Simonson observed a black male, wearing a white T-shirt, black basketball shorts, with long white pants underneath, carrying a black backpack, walking westbound on East Main Street, and then turn southbound, onto Willow Street. Officer Simonson attempted to stop this male on Willow Street, whom he recognized to be Adam Bland. Officer Simonson asked "what's up man, what's your name?". The suspect then dropped the black backpack, and ran northbound, towards East Main Street. Officer Simonson pursued the suspect on foot, for some time, but was unable to capture him. State Police, and East Hartford Police, K-9 Units were called to assist in the apprehension. During the K-9 track of the suspect, East Hartford Police K-9 Primo located a white T -shirt was found in the southwest corner, in the rear parking area, of 35 Pleasant Street. This T-shirt was believed to be that of the suspect, who dropped the backpack, and ran from Officer Simonson. 5. Detective)Sgt. Pekrul, and the Affiant, went to location of where the suspect dropped the backpack on Willow Stre~k The contents of the backpack contained a Compaq laptop computer, various SIMS games, and other items reRarted stQJen during the home invasion, at 38 Lincoln Street, including a prescription bottle with compLainant's rrame onlt (James Boland). Boland later identified the contents as belonging to him, and his guestsj-"

6. At approxinlately 0310 hours, Detective Sgt. Pekrul and the Affiant went to Adam Bland's home, at 60 Willow Street. ~e spoke to Chlarissa Bland, who identified herself as Adam Bland's mother. The Affiant asked her if Adam was home, and she responded that he was not. She stated Adam had just gotten out ofjail recently, and left the home some hours prior, with a light skinned Hispanic male, she had never met before. Chlarissa Bland stated that her son was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, black & white colored sneakers, and was carrying a black backpack. The Affiant left his business card with her, and asked that Bland call him, as soon as possible. 7. On the morning September 23,2009, the Affiant received a voicemail message from Bland, and he left a call back number that connected the Affiant to Dorota (Dorothy) Koc, who identified herself as Bland's girlfriend. The Affiant asked if she would meet in person, and she agreed. At approximately 1330 hours, Detective George Clements and the Affiant went to 475 Knotter Drive, Cheshire, to speak with Koc, at her workplace. She stated that on Monday, September 21,2009, she picked up Bland from Platt High School, and the two spent the night at 69 Westwood Knoll, apartment #409, along with her girlfriend Alyxandra Tomporowski, and her boyfriend, Corey S1. AFFIDAVIT The undersigned Affiant, being duly sworn, deposes and says:
approximately 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, September 22,2009, and had not seen or heard from Bland since. The Affiant asked Koc if Bland left at anytime during the night, and she responded "not that I know of', The Affiant asked her if Bland was wearing a white T-shirt on the evening of Monday, September 21,2009, and if he was wearing it the next morning, and she stated Bland had a white T-shirt on, but he spilled something on it, and she had the T-shirt. 8. While Detective Clements and the Affiant were concluding the interview of Koc, The Affiant received infornlation from Detective Sgt. Pekrul, that Patrol Officers had been dispatched to a complaint of suspicious activity taking place at 69 Westwood Knoll, apartment #409. Detective Sgt. Pekrul told the Affiant that Adam Bland, was being detained at that location, by Patrol Officers. 9. Detective Clements and the Affiant then went to 69 Westwood Knoll, apartment #409. I spoke to Corey St. Jernquist, who shares the apartment with his girlfriend, Alyxandra Tomporowski. St. Jernquist stated that Bland and Koc did not stay at his apartment on the night of Monday, September 21,2009. He stated that they came over on Tuesday, September 22, 2009, and stated that they had trouble. St. Jernquist stated that Bland told him that he, and a friend, went into a house, where they "took some stuff', and that Bland had been chased by Police. St. Jernquist later came to Police Headquarters, where he provided further details to Investigators. 10. Detective Clements obtained a written statement from David Pappas, who was identified as a guest of St. Jernquist, and Tomporowski, and had been staying with them, for approximately two weeks. Pappas stated among oth.~r things, that on Monday, September 21,2009, at around 12:30 PM, he arrived at 69 Westwood Kngll, #4@) and remained there, the rest of the day. He stated that at approximately 5:30 PM, Koc came over aftytwork,c.ffud left·:.itound 7:00 PM. Pappas stated Koc said that she was going to get "Ace", and would be baCK; but she..never1:~urned. On September 22,2009, Pappas stated that St. Jernquist told him that "Ace" wou'l~be sta~g witil)them for a while, because he had some problems. .

Tomporowski provided a digital voice recorded statement whe~he stated that Bland and Koc came over on the afternoon of September 22,2009, She stated Bland was quiet~and Koc was upset. Tomporowski stated that Koc told her that Bland went into a house with a kid named "Jason", who lives in the Mills apartment complex. She stated Koc told her that they took some stuff, because the guy owed Bland money, She stated Koc told her Bland dropped the backpack, and ran from the Police. Tomporowski stated that when Koc and Bland came over that afternoon, Bland had some personal belongings with him, which included a black backpack. She also stated Bland had some SIMS gaInes, and a T Mobile cell phone that had a sliding mechanism, to access the keypad.

The undersigned Affiant, being duly sworn, deposes and says:
12. The Affiant observed in plain view, a black backpack, on the living room floor. The Affiant asked Bland if the black backpack was his, and he stated it was not. Bland stated he didn't know who the backpack belonged to. The Affiant observed several other bags in this area, with fresh clothing and undergarments in them, and personal hygiene items as well. 13. Bland was placed under arrest by Patrol Officers, in this unrelated case, for Interfering with Police, and transported to Police Headquarters, where he was held on bond. S1. Jernquist and Papas were both issued misdemeanor summonses, on scene, for possession of drug paraphernalia. 14. Tomporowski, S1. Jernquist, and Pappas, provided written consent to search the apartment, 69 Westwood Knoll, #409. During the search, St. Jernquist and Tomporowski pointed out that a T-Mobile cell phone, with a sliding keypad mechanism, and several SIMs games, were left on their kitchen counter, by Bland. They also pointed out to the several bags and packs, which included a black backpack, on living room floor, that they said belonged to Bland. The Affiant opened the black backpack, and observed several more SIMs games inside, a mask with a lori;orange haired wig attached, as well as a black BB gun. These items were seized as evidence. The T-Mobile c~ phone; with the sliding keypad mechanism, as well as the SIMs video games, were later identifie~'by cornrlainants as theirs. 15. S1. Jernquis~then came to Meriden Police Headquarters, where provided a voluntary statement, that was video recorded. He-,stated among other things, that Bland came over to his apartment on the afternoon of September 22,2009: He stated Bland's street name is "Ace Boogey". S1. Jernquist stated that Bland told him ,.., that he, and a frien~went into a house, with their faces covered, not wearing gloves, carrying book bags, and that there were people there inside at the time. Bland told him they used BB guns, and took what they could. St. J ernquist stated Bland told him that his friend had the girls take their clothes off. He stated the SIMs games, and T -Mobile cell phone, Police observed on his kitchen counter had been in the black backpack that belonged to Bland. S1. Jemquist stated Bland showed him a black BB gun, and told him that it was the gun he used. He stated Bland told him he that was stopped by Police on his way home, dropped the backpack, and ran. St. Jernquist stated that Bland took his sneakers off, while fleeing from Police, and hid them under a deck, of an apartment complex, next to his home. He stated that on Tuesday, September 22,2009, Koc asked for his assistance, in retrieving Bland's Nike Air Force One sneakers, which he did, while she was getting fresh clothing for Bland, at his home. During this time Bland was back at St. Jernquist's apartment. 16. Adam Bland was advised of his Miranda rights, which he waived. Bland claimed he had no knowledge of the incident at 38 Lincoln Street, and was at 69 Westwood Knoll, apartment #409, all night, on September 21, 2009, after he got out of school. (This is page

AFFIDAVIT The undersigned Affiant, being duly sworn, deposes and says:
17. During the commission of the crime at hand, all of the victims were ordered on the floor, with guns pointed at them. They were then ordered to surrender their valuables. James Boland's wallet was stolen, along with approximately $300. cash., and a bottle of prescription medication. Diego Agudo estimated approximately $80. cash, and his cell phone, was stolen by the suspects. Agudo also stated that while on the floor, one ofthe suspects put a gun to the back of his head, racked the slide, and then he heard a "click" sound. Nicholas Lohman stated his 2 neck chains with gold crosses, valued at $350., $50 cash, a wrist watch, and his cell phone, were stolen during the ordeal. Alicia Acosta's Compaq laptop computer was stolen, valued at $1,200., as well as approximately 10 SIMs video games, which she valued at $40. each. Boutilier suffered no monetary, or property loss, as she was able to hide her rings from suspect view. However, she as well as Acosta, were forced to strip naked, and kiss each other. Boutilier and Acosta were then told to "finger" each other, and they refused. One suspect then fondled Boutilier's breasts, prior to fleeing. 18. Adam Bland is a convicted felon, currently on adult probation, for the crime of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery.
