9-2-09
To the City Clerk ofMeriden Ct., the State ofCt. Election Department and whom it may concern,
I am requesting a review of the of the nomination of Scott Hozebin as a Republican candidate for a Meriden Board of Education seat in the upcoming November election. It is my understanding that Mr. Hozebin wasn't voted on at the GOP convention. Apparently, Mr. Hozebin was voted on after the convention by the "executive committee" who was apparently given authority from the town committee. Simply put is this fair and proper legal procedure? Where does this authority come from? The Record Journal Newspaper reported on 9-2-09 that the nominating convention had already adjourned and the Republican chair, Dan Brunet, declined to release information about the post -election vote. What post convention vote? Can we now also add nominees post convention? I do not know what exactly what took place with the nomination of Mr. Hozebin ( who knew what, where, when, why, how, ect.). But I do know that the 9-2-09 article, by the Record Journal raises many questions that should be addressed. Thus the reason for this letter. Please look into the issue's of Mr. Hozebin's nomination and candidacy as it will effect, not only my votes, but the votes of every candidate and the outcome of the election itself. Thank you in advance and if I can be of any assistance in this matter please contact me at the below numbers.
Respectfully,
We the People candidate for Meriden Board of Education
