Gen. star on his death bed on a hospital ship in Baltimore harbor. 1865 | Civil War ends 1866 | Samuel Simpson, starts Simpson, Hall & Miller manufacturing britannia & silver-plated holloware on East Center St. 1866 | Union Church in Yalesville started (Baptist, Methodist & other denominations) 1866 | The Union Academy building, now a residence, is moved from 153 S.
