The City of Richmond strives to provide residents with the best possible service, the latest innovations, and ongoing opportunities to help the environment. Through your recycling efforts, the amount of trash that goes to our landfill is reduced. You can be proud of the fact that you’re doing your part to keep our community clean and green. Recycling is a great way to give new life to what could otherwise be trash and benefits our community by creating jobs and protecting our local environment. Since the Department of Public Works rolled out 95-gallon recycling carts in 2015, we’ve offered the Recycling Perks reward program to residents as our way of rewarding you for your recycling efforts. It’s a great incentive to recycle and we’re proud to offer it to you. I’d like to personally thank you for recycling and for doing your part to keep Richmond beautiful! Alicia R. Zatcoff, J.D.
