New Year’s Eve New Year's Eve is the traditional night to party and what better way to start the New Year than by attending our fantastic New Year's Hogmanay Ball being held in the Castle Suite at Chequers Hotel. To start, a welcome reception in the Castle Suite, followed by a piper who will lead you into the Pinfold Room where a luxury carved buffet will be served. After your meal let the entertainment begin with comedian Jimmy Bright. At the age of 21, Jimmy was the youngest funny man ever to appear on Granada TV's the comedians. Granada Television executives describe him as a comedy genius. Jimmy has now taken the sfter dinner circuit by storm. The entertainment continues with a DJ and Compere. Our piper will bring in the New Year followed by a round of Auld Lang Syne. Whether you are a group of 2 or 20 give us a ring and book yourself a night to remember. £20 per head deposit is required.

Terms and Conditions A letter of acknowledgement will be sent to you upon receipt of your booking form. All bookings require a deposit of ÂŁ10 per person including Christmas Day ÂŁ20 per person for New Year's Eve to be paid within 14 days of booking, This deposit is non-refundable. Full payment will be required one month prior to your event. For bookings made less than one month before your function date, full payment will be required within 48 hours of the time of booking. Chequers Hotel reserve the right to cancel any bookings if full payment has not been received within the specified time.

Additional guests Due to limited numbers on each night it may not be possible to increase the size of your party once your deposit has been received. However, Chequers Hotel will do their best to accommodate your requirements should this need arise.
