Jonathan Fuller began playing the cello at the age of 4. His past teachers include Pamela Devenport, Mary Beth Bryant, and Daniel Laufer. He currently studies with Yeesun Kim at the New England Conservatory of Music. Jonathan has held principal positions in the New England Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra, and the GMEA Georgia All-State Orchestra. His professional orchestra experience includes a substitute position in the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra performing Gustav Mahler’s “Titan” (1st) Symphony. Jonathan has participated in several chamber music programs including the Franklin Pond Chamber Program, coached by members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra; the Emory Youth Chamber Program, coached by the Vega String Quartet; and the New England Conservatory Chamber Music Department. Jonathan is an active solo performer at summer festivals and at home. He won 2nd prize in the 2022 Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra concerto competition where he performed the 4th movement of the Elgar Cello Concerto as a soloist with the orchestra.

His summer festival participation includes the Atlanta Chamber Music Festival, International Cello Institute (St. Olaf College), Credo Festival (Oberlin Conservatory), and Cincinnati Young Artists Cello Academy. He was a member of the highly selective 2021 National Youth Orchestra, a program of Carnegie Hall in which the orchestra was in residence at Purchase College in New York for four weeks and made several professional recordings that can be viewed on YouTube. He returned as a member of the orchestra in 2022, performing in Carnegie Hall before embarking on a European tour. Additionally, he attended the 2022 and 2024 Bowdoin International Music Festival, and the Heifetz Institute in 2023 where he studied with renowned teachers such as Steven Doane, Astrid Schween, and Peter Stumpf, and was selected to play in a masterclass with Timothy Eddy.

Jonathan is a proud member of the first graduating class of Midtown High School in Atlanta, where he was a member of both the orchestral and choral programs. He is now starting his third year obtaining his Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance at the New England Conservatory where he enjoys performing new music by young composers, as well as continuing his solo, chamber, and orchestral career.

Wayne Gilreath holds degrees in Piano Performance from the University of West Georgia and the University of Tennessee. His principal teachers were Mr. George Mann, Dr. Christy Lee, and Dr. David Northington. He serves as collaborative pianist for the University of West Georgia, where, since 2010, he has accompanied the choral ensembles, opera workshop, wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, numerous students, faculty, and guest artists. As a guest artist and alumni, he performed Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor with the UWG Wind Ensemble.

An active performer and teacher, Mr. Gilreath has been a member of The Music Teachers’ National Association for many years. Gilreath has presented lecture recitals titled “Listening for the Bells: The Piano Music of Arvo Pärt” at the Georgia Music Teachers’ Association State Conference, the World Piano Conference in Novi Sad, Serbia, and the Encuentro de Pianistas at the University of Costa Rica in San Jose. Having a particular interest in Pärt’s music, Wayne has performed Pärt’s complete works for solo piano and organ.

Wayne serves as Organist and Choirmaster at Douglasville First United Methodist Church and is celebrating his 10th year. During his tenure they have performed the J.S. Bach Cantata Uns ist ein Kind geboren, Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël, Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna, John Rutter’s Requiem, and a commissioned work for organ, brass, and choir titled When In Our Music by British Composer Phillip Cooke. He is an active member of the Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and has held two National Convention positions: Chair of Facilities for the 2020 Convention in Atlanta, Georgia and Chair of Exhibits for the 2022 Convention in Seattle, Washington. He will be serving as Sub-Dean for the Atlanta Chapter this upcoming year.

Yvonne Toll Schneider is one of Atlanta’s premier trumpet performers and instructors. She received her undergraduate degree from North Park University in Chicago and her Masters of Music from the Eastman School of Music, where she was awarded the prestigious Performers Certificate.

Mrs. Schneider is Principal Trumpet of the Atlanta Opera Orchestra and on faculty at Georgia State University as Instructor of Trumpet. She is also a member of The Atlanta Brassworks quintet as well as Principal Trumpet in the Georgia Symphony Orchestra. Yvonne can also be heard performing regularly with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Atlanta Ballet Orchestra.

In addition to her performing schedule, Yvonne maintains a private teaching studio and is also on faculty as a brass coach for the Atlanta Chamber Music Festival, held each summer at Emory University. She has taught trumpet as an instructor at, Clayton State University, Emory University, Agnes Scott College, and Columbus State University.

Sarah Hawbecker is an active recitalist, full-time church musician, and winner of numerous competitions. She is a prize winner of both the 1998 and 1996 National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance. She won first place in the 1988 Undergraduate Organ Competition, Ottumwa, Iowa, and was a finalist in the 1992 Spivey International Organ Competition. Ms. Hawbecker’s performances have been recorded and broadcast on American Public Media’s radio program Pipedreams®

She has presented workshops and performed for conventions of the American Guild of Organists and for conferences of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians. Her articles have been published in several professional journals: The American Organist (AGO), CrossAccent (ALCM), and The Chorister (Choristers Guild). She has adjudicated several organ competitions, most notably the semi-final round of the 2008 National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance.

A native of Illinois, Ms. Hawbecker studied organ and church music with John Ferguson at St. Olaf College, where she earned the Bachelor of Music degree, magna cum laude with Departmental Distinction, and was elected into Pi Kappa Lambda. She went on to earn the Master of Music degree in Organ Performance from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Russell Saunders. An active lifetime member of the American Guild of Organists, she served three terms on its National Council and completed two terms on the Board of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians as a regional president.

Ms. Hawbecker is Organist and Director of Children’s Music at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta, Georgia, where she has served since 1996. She is on the roster of Concert Artist Cooperative (www.concertartistcooperative.com).
