Warren Ronald Osterloh February 18, 1936 ~ January 16, 2021 Warren was born in Fremont, Nebraska to George Irwin and Alice Marie Osterloh on February 18, 1936. He went to grade school and high school in Hooper, Nebraska and was a graduate of the University of Nebraska. He married Patrocinio Moreno Osterloh on December 23, 1962 in Gibraltar, UK. He had a long and distinguished career that included retirement as an officer in the United States Air Force, followed by working as a communications engineer for ARINC, Inc., before fully retiring from his career working for his son Joel in the timber industry. Warren was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Air Force for 28 years and was awarded numerous medals and honors including: Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Services Commendation Medal, AF Commendation Medal, AF Longevity Service Award, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Spanish AF Cross of Aeronautical Merit. While in the Air Force, Warren lived all over the world including his adopted country of Spain, as well as Germany, Thailand, Saudi Arabia and Honduras and many different cities in the United States. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Hooper, NE. Warren was a pillar for his family and was an extremely loving and caring Husband, Father, Abuelo, Uncle and friend. He was passionate about learning and travelling and his hobbies included HAM radios, photography, languages, classical music, and farming . Warren Osterloh is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patrocinio Osterloh; daughter Mary Alice Osterloh Quinn and her husband Timothy Edward Quinn (Brookhaven, GA); sons Joel Irwin Osterloh and his wife Sharon Reiner Osterloh (Suwanee, GA) and Ronald Warren Osterloh and his wife Mary Celeste Osterloh (Duluth, GA); sister Janice Iciel Edelmeier (Watsonville, CA); Grandchildren Cayleigh, Caroline, Lily, Claire and Molly; and a host of other relatives and many more friends. The family requests that love offerings be made to your church, to the United Service Organizations (USO) or to the military service charity of your liking, in memory of Warren. 1
