This is a beautiful hardcover book—the kind of book that you might routinely discover in an art museum gift shop. It is beautiful to see, to hold, and to savor. It makes a perfect gift or just a wonderful book to treat yourself.
If it is so wonderful, why are we selling it at a discount? Because, to put it bluntly, despite its beauty and the subject matter, it is not the type of book you would typically expect from Liguori Publications, and therein lies the challenge. We purchased the rights to the book and ordered its production in the belief that we could “stretch” our sales. We were wrong.
Although we have sold thousands of these beautiful books, we still have many more in stock, and it is difficult to keep them when they are taking up room in our warehouse that could be used for some of our best-selling products. That is the reason for the sale and the deep discount.
Your gift shop or bookstore will benefit from this title, especially around the Christmas season.
Our mistaken enthusiasm is your opportunity!
“As pure spirits, angels cannot be seen. Yet artists since ancient times have tried to make them visible for us. Now comes Fr. Mark Haydu to make the work of those artists more accessible to us— and more relevant to our prayer. This book is eye-opening and enriching to the soul.”
Mike Aquilina, EWTN host
“Fr. Haydu once again fulfills his expert role as a dual guide: first, by raising our gaze to the heavenly hosts that appear in these beautiful works of sacred art; then by lifting our minds and hearts through his inspiring biblical meditations to assure us that God’s holy angels are still present—to light and guard, to rule and guide. Highly recommended!”
Scott Hahn, PhD, Franciscan University of Steubenville
