This amazing 10 hectare Reserve is a significant ecological area, containing patches of River Flat Eucalypt Forest, an endangered ecological community found in Sydney. You will also find several gigantic gum trees scattered throughout the Reserve, which are estimated to be over 250 years old! These large trees offer invaluable habitat for possums, gliders and microbats and are in need of protection. Over time however, this Reserve has become dominated by invasive weed species, including Privet and African Olive. Come and join us in removing these destructive species before they begin to impact on the extraordinary native flora and fauna found in the Reserve!
