CREATIVE CONSULTING SERVICES Richard and Amy are a husband and wife team living on beautiful Vancouver Island, Canada. Growing up on the prairies instilled in them a strong foundation of values and an appreciation for the beauty of simplicity, and they continue to discover inspiration in film, old photographic portraits, the work of other artisans, and the natural landscape that surrounds them. After nearly ten years of building their own successful business their primary focus has settled on portraiture, editorial work and developing products for professional photographers.  Passionate about fostering a sense of craftsmanship and timeless style in photography, they believe in the legacy of beautiful imagery and the value of printing great work.

LET’S SKYPE This is your chance to sit down with both of us and ask about anything: Photoshop editing, workflow, photography, pricing, marketing, mentoring. We’re here to chat with you, to share our experience, advice, and perspectives, and to answer all the questions you have about your work and business. Includes 2 hours of one on one Skype time. $250 {$125/per additional hr}
CRITIQUE MY WORK Here we’ll review 20 of your selected images and present you with a constructive critique of what we see: what looks great, what needs improvement, and what little changes could make all the difference. We’ll also include a full write-up of top suggestions and comments for you to refer back to as you work. We’ve found that this is one of the best ways to learn, and it’s based on our own experience: peer reviews in our early days completely changed the way we captured images and left us inspired to grow. Remember, a good critique is an incredibly empowering experience! $250
SHOW ME HOW This is your opportunity to send us 10 digital files, and “watch” us edit them. We will enhance the images using our actions and techniques that we use in our own post-production. We’ll record the whole process, and post it online for you to view and download. This personal Photoshop tutorial will enhance your editing skills, provide a fresh perspective, and give you tips on how to create beautiful, timeless and more efficient edits. As a bonus, we will include a special custom action set with 2 custom b&w actions, and 3 custom color actions which will be used in the tutorial. Also included is a one page PDF which outlines our current post-production workflow. $250

PACKAGE ONE: FIRST IMPRESSION We all know how important it is to make an awesome first impression, but photographers often forget that first impressions happen online as well as in person. What does your online presence say to potential clients? In the First Impressions package we’ll give you a full, written review of how we feel your online presence conveys your personal and professional message to the new client, and suggest ways to enhance and clarify your visual content, functionality, and overall aesthetic.

PACKAGE TWO: CLEAN SWEEP In this complete business review package we’ll go through not only our first impressions of your website but also all your written material - from business cards to packaging - to ensure that your business presentation has an effective and cohesive flow. We’ll also look at how you present yourself in a consultation with a potential client, and how client relations proceed from initial contact email right through to finishing up your session and giving them their products. The Clean Sweep package includes a full, written review of how your business is functioning as a whole, and provides key suggestions for cleaning up, refreshing and fine-tuning the way things look and run.

PACKAGE THREE: KICK-START MENTOR Are you feeling stuck in a rut, have no idea where to go with your business, what to change, or what to do next? We’ve been there, and we can provide you with some great advice on how to kick-start your business. In this package we offer mentoring and support as you clarify your direction and rejuvenate your flow. Together we’ll go through a few detailed worksheets to find out where you’re at and where you want to be, come up with creative solutions to the challenges and problems you’re facing, and reignite your passion for your business. There’s no need to feel isolated or overwhelmed – we’re here for you. In the Kick-Start Mentor package we’ll provide you with specialized worksheets, 2 hours of Skype time, and two follow-up emails to go over any concerns and questions that may have come up along the way. We’ll also provide a written summary of everything we’ve discussed, as well as an action plan for the future growth of your business. $650
PACKAGE FOUR: BRILLIANT BIO This service includes a professional rewrite of your bio - you know, the one you tear your hair out over writing? The one that makes you wince every time you send it out? With our amazing writer on your side, you’ll never have to feel embarrassed or anxious about how your bio makes you sound. A good rewrite will highlight your strengths and creativity, tell a story about who you are and where you’re coming from, and create a sense of personal connection with your clients. Believe us, it’s worth it. The Brilliant Bio package includes a refreshed bio or ‘about’ page of up to 250 words. You’ll receive one complementary edit option, and any additional changes will be charged out at $50.00 per hr.

About our writer: Jessica is a writer, weaver, and naturalist living on Vancouver Island. Growing up wildish in forests and meadows, she learned early to sense and appreciate a natural, living beauty in the world - a resonant wholeness that she strives to emulate and reflect in all that she does. Jess holds degrees in English Literature, Environmental Studies, and a Masters in Holistic Science, and when she’s not setting the loom or teaching ecology she’s in her bliss writing about the remarkable work and lives of contemporary artists.
PACKAGE FIVE: FRESH PERSPECTIVE Feel as though you need a second set of eyes to give you an honest, objective opinion on how you’re doing? Can’t see the forest for the trees? Sometimes family and friends just can’t deliver the precise, constructive criticism we need. This package combines The Clean Sweep and The Brilliant Bio package. We will provide you with a meticulous, professional, and un-biased perspective on where you are now and guidance to obtaining your future goals. As a complete, authentic overview of your business as a whole, this comprehensive package provides you with the personalized feedback you need to learn, evolve, and grow. The Fresh Perspective package includes a full, written review of how your business is functioning, and suggestions for future growth. It also includes a refreshed bio or ‘about’ page of up to 250 words. $900
IMPORTANT INFORMATION By purchasing any of these services you agree to the following policy: Time is valuable - yours and ours and we want to provide all our clients with a great experience. With this in mind, the consulting services we’re offering must be treated in a professional manner. You’ll be responsible for providing any materials requested (worksheets, files, etc.) in a timely fashion, and all packages and consultation services must be completed within one month of purchase.
