If Redline frames were a piece of art, this one would be our Mona Lisa. Redline took the race-proven Conquest Pro canvas, but added 3AI - 2.5V Titanium to the pallette. Brushing it with ovalized top and down tubes for tortional rigidity, with a three strokes of double-butted tubing for lightness. Sure, we think this frame could be hung on the walls of the Guggenhiem. But we’d prefer to see it built up and winning - just as past U.S. National Champion Marc Gullickson plans to do with it during the ‘05 cross season. Sizes 48-60cm in 2cm increments.

Last year, ROAD magazine described the Disc-R as having “a responsive, solid ride coupled with good componentry at a more than reasonable price tag.” And for ‘05, Redline somehow managed to improve on perfection. By adding compact geometry, Redline improved the stiffness of the alloy frame, while also giving it solid cornering and improved acceleration. When Redline decided to join the freeride mountain bike movement, we started with our top of the line dirt jumper and super-sized it. The name Muckamuck and its meaning -- “important and influential” seemed a perfect fit for a bike based out of the Pacific Northwest’s thriving thrashin’ scene. Just as a Muckamuck can be an important, heavyweight big shot; this bike is destined to become an important, influential leader for the rest of the industry to follow. Just remember when riding, don’t Muckamuck (eat it plenty) too often.
