WELCOME
We’ve been making inflatable SUP boards since 2008 and that’s all we make.This focus allows us to look at the world of inflatable boards from a unique perspective and it allows you to own a product that is designed to give you the absolute best experience possible. We believe that owning an inflatable board should not mean you have to compromise on performance, looks or quality. We believe riding one of our boards offers the ultimate in convenience but this should not be at the expense of the performance.
We’ve always thought of the design of our boards as so much more than just how they look .To design a board is only part of the process We consider the whole experience. Because owning an inflatable board is also about storage, transportation, ease of inflation, as well as on water performance.z Owning a Red Paddle Co inflatable board is about the whole package, the real deal and not an experience that will leave you wanting more. Thickness
Tec Air is not a product, it’s a process. By focussing in on the key areas of the production process we have been able to identify ways we can improve the end result. Whether it be detailing exactly where and how the layers are bonded or how the rocker curve is applied to the board, no area of the design process is ignored.
The thickness of any board is as impor tant as the length and the width. The thickness of an inflatable board is even more impor tant as it not only has an effect on flotation but also stiffness - everybody needs and wants the stiffest board possible. Thicker boards are stiffer but building them too thick reduces responsiveness. We therefore use three thicknesses: 100mm/3.93”, 120mm/4.72” and 150mm/5.90”.
The key areas of construction are inside the board. Our attention to detail on the inside ensures the best experience on the outside. Tec Air means stiffer boards and an authentic experience.

No area of the design process is ignored
This allows us to deliver the authentic SUP experience that we feel so strongly about. We also have our patented RSS stiffening system that allows us to increase stiffness where performance would otherwise be lost. 100mm/3.93” This thickness is perfect for boards with a surfing orientation. It gives you better control and feel on moving water and with the RSS system you get a board that is stiffer than any other board of this kind available today.
120mm/4.72” This thickness gives a board that has the perfect volume and feel for all round use, whether it be sliding along on a wave, gliding up the creek or across the bay. The world’s biggest selling inflatable SUP board, the Red Paddle Co 10’6”, is built in 120mm/4.72” thickness. 150mm/5.90” This thickness gives you a board that floats high out of the water and therefore is ideal for creating maximum glide on flat water or maximum speed on the race course. Add the RSS system to these boards and you have the highest performing inflatable SUP board available.

Fins Nothing comes close to our tried and tested iFin system. Zero warranty requests since we star ted using the system means that we remain confident that it is the best option. No tools, replacements or spares are needed for the iFin system. They deliver great performance and are the most durable fin available.

The Explorer, Spor t and Race designs use a US Box system to allow for rider tuning. This is a global fin standard so fins can easily be replaced if lost.
RSS
Rocker Stiffening System (RSS) The patented RSS system is unique to Red Paddle Co. By inser ting stiffening battens into pockets on the side of the board we have been able to increase the stiffness of our boards by up to 40%.
We use the RSS system on all 100mm/3.93” boards (excluding 9’4” ) to bring them up to the same stiffness as our 120mm/4.72” boards but still maintaining the great manoeuvre characteristics of a 100mm/3.93” board. To engineer the best system, the pockets are individually laminated into position.

Designed to deliver a great surfing shape for riders up to 95kg/210lb and a perfect all round board for the sub 70kg/154lb rider. The 9’8” is 100mm/3.93” thick for increased performance and manoeuvrability and is fitted with RSS to ensure rigidity is not compromised.

The 10’6” and 10’8” Ride boards are 120mm/4.72” thick. This increases stiffness while not affecting the ride and performance of these iconic boards. The 120mm/4.72” thickness means that the rider can obtain greater stiffness at lower pressure. The 120mm/4.72” board is more than 40% stiffer than a standard 100mm/3.93” board at the same pressure. The combination of overall width plus the wide tail creates an unbelievably stable platform making the 10’6” and 10’8” Ride fantastic all-rounders.

The combination of overall width plus the wide tail creates an unbelievably stable platform. This makes it the perfect board in our range for a windsurf version with a mast foot built into the board for those that want to have their first go at windsurfing. The sail screws into a built in screw thread on the board and comes with a US fin box at the back, to assist with tracking.

We have taken our super popular 10’8� ride model and made some changes to produce the very best Yoga and Pilates SUP board. Our Tec Air construction means you get a super rigid board, perfect for these disciplines.

With the white water side of SUP growing fast, we have produced a shape that not only offers extreme durability but also extreme performance on the river. Designed with input from white water paddlers from around the world the Flow allows for easy control on down river runs.
Fitted with multiple grab handles it offers safety and control. The Quad fin set up means you don’t get the “double bump” when hitting rocks that is so often the problem with standard 3 fin set ups. The fins are also low profile to avoid hang ups in shallow sections.
Its high sides allow it to break in and out of the river flow while its pronounced nose rocker means it rides over the bumps exceptionally well.
No two rivers are the same, so there is no optimum fin size. Our iFins can be re-shaped to suit not only your style of riding, but also the conditions at your local river. All in all the Flow will take your River running to the next level.

Taking shape inspiration from our Elite boards, the Max Race has been designed for speed and close competition in the youth racing class. The shor ter length means it’s manageable both on and off the water and the 27” width makes it stable enough while still super quick in a straight line.
The Race is a fantastic board that will amaze you. The rocker line is designed to give fast glide and ride. The single nose fin helps tracking while the centre fin at the rear gives the right amount of grip without adding drag.

While most manufacturers of inflatable race boards are forcing them into one design classes, the Elite boards allow you to step up and compete with all comers in the main race. Faster than you thought possible, the Elite boards lead the way in stiffness, shape, consistency and speed. The Elites come in 12’6” and 14’ sizes. Utilising our RSS system the boards are super stiff, which means you don’t loose efficiency through flex - the biggest problem on most other inflatable race boards.

The boards are 26” wide which means they are not for the first timer but in the right hands they are super fast. The 14’ is also a great downwind board. It picks up swell really easily and has a great glide to it. You really have to ride it to believe how good this board is. We much prefer spending our time paddling rather than pumping so we developed the Titan Pump. The Dual Cylinder system combined with the Hi Flo handle means you are in complete control of the time and energy required to inflate your board. It puts the volume into your board faster and reduces the effor t required to reach a higher pressure. A revolution in pumping technology.
We worked with Bravo the world’s leading pump manufacturer to produce the High Pressure (HP) version of our Ezee Pump. Almost anybody can pump one of our boards to 20 psi with the HP pump. The HP pump comes complete with a pressure gauge that is clearly marked so you can check your progress anytime.

After covering over 100,000 miles with our boards we have a really good idea of what is needed from the ultimate bag.
