Baby roo’s mum’s pouch was the most comfy and cosy in the world. It was so comfy that he decided to tell all his friends … … and that’s when the trouble began! A delightful snugly, story!

“My mum’s pouch is the most comfy, cosy pouch in the world,” thought baby roo, as he snoozed one afternoon.

“I’m going to tell my friends how comfy and cosy it is,” he thought.

He hopped to the eucalyptus tree and told baby koala. “Go on! Try it if you don’t believe me,” he said.

Then he hopped to the woodpile and told baby possum. “Go on! Try it if you don’t believe me,” he said.

Next he hopped to the riverbank and told baby duck-billed platypus. “Go on! Try it if you don’t believe me,” he said.

He hopped to the billabong tree too and told baby kookaburra. “Go on! Try it if you don’t believe me,” he said.

Finally he hopped to the hollow and told baby wombat. “Go on! Try it if you don’t believe me,” he said.

Baby roo was tired of hopping and felt like having a little snooze in his mum’s comfy, cosy pouch.
