SPIDER in the Bath!

“Bathtime!” said Dad. “But Daad, have I got to?” whined Stanley. “Bathtime!” said Mum. “But Muuum.” “Bathtime!” they both said together.
Stanley hated having a bath. He hated it more than anything. More than cabbage, more than cough medicine, even more than going to the dentist!
So Stanley took absolutely ages to climb the stairs. “Bath!” shouted Dad, again. “Bath!” shouted Mum, again. “Bath!” they both shouted together.
Stanley took as long as he possibly could to get undressed. “Bath!” yelled Dad, yet again. “Bath!” yelled Mum, yet again. “Bath!” they both yelled together.
But Stanley was only in the bathroom for one second before screaming…“Aaagh!” and stampeding out the door.
“Bath!” screamed Mum and Dad. “But there’s a spider in the bath and it’s really big,” pleaded Stanley.
“Don’t be so silly, spiders can’t hurt you,” laughed his sister. “I’ll get it out, you little baby.”
“Aaagh,” screamed his sister within a second. “See,” said Stanley. “Th-th-there is a sp-sp-spider in the bath and it’s huge!” she wailed.
“Don’t be so daft, spiders can’t hurt you,” said his mum.“And we don’t get huge spiders in this country. I’ll get it out.”
