When it comes to innovation, here at nihub Innovation Center we like to think we know a thing or two. If you asked for our two cents on the topic, we'd say innovation is everywhere.

With that said, of course, some places tend to support it more than others. For us, China(particularly Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province) was a clear winner when it came to choosing a place where innovation is not only thriving naturally, but is also strongly supported by both local and international players.

Thus we created nihub Innovation Center, with the aim to help foreign startups and innovators scale their businesses in China. Simple.

Or so it may seem at least. When it comes down to it though, innovation is a tough and rocky road. Today, we want to take you all on a quick trip down that road to illustrate exactly how an innovation center works to facilitate innovation, scale projects, and create an ecosystem around entrepreneurship.

We mentioned last time about our slogan, it's all about ni. This is indeed due to the obvious fact that without the lot of you there would be no innovation to facilitate or scale.

The problem that so many would-be entrepreneurs face is that innovation is not inherently profitable, nor oriented to a feasible business model. This is where we come in.

Through a variety of workshops, training courses, and collaborations, nihub works day in and out to facilitate creators in their founding from concept and project to startup and registered business.

How many times a day do you hear the word "startup?" At least in China, we're sure it's at least in the double digits. The world is full of hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of startups and eager entrepreneurs

attempting to go from startup to scale-up.

Our main priority at nihub is the help with this process. To take Company X from a Dutch, German, British, or American startup, to a Chinese (and global) company. By means of investment procurement via local VCs and funds and operational services, your startup today can make the fundamental transition from startup to scale-up in the blink of an eye.

So you've perfected your business model, raised funding, grown your team, and marketed your business. What now?

As a scale-up company, the worries that

once troubled you as a startup are far from over. Many companies go on to receive investment and never make returns.

At nihub, we believe amongst all the necessities to create, develop, and maintain a thriving business, there's something that stands out above the rest: an ecosystem. A community of support networks, influence, and partners all working together towards each others success.

Through consistent community networking, foreign delegations & ecosystem visits, corporate innovation projects, and government meetups & keynotes, working to build a community and ecosystem around innovation is perhaps the single most important necessity for startups to scale-up and succeed, especially in a foreign market.
