AUTOMOTIVE WORLD AUTOMOTIVE WORLD is the Asia's largest exhibition for automotive technologies. This was its 8th edition, and composed of 5 shows specialised in automotive electronics, EV/HEV/FCV technology, lightweight technology, components processing technology, and technology for connected cars.

venue filled with excitement The show opened with a grand ceremony conducted by more than 40 executives of Japanese automakers (TOYOTA, Honda, Mazda, Fuji Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi), overseas automakers (BMW, Ford, Hyundai, China FAW, etc.), component manufacturers, semiconductor manufacturers, etc. Click here to see list of Opening Ribbon-cutting Dignitaries The venue was full of engineers of major automakers and tier 1&2s of all over the world from the first day morning. A lot of business discussions were held throughout the 3 days. On the 1st floor where companies dealing in car electronics technology exhibited, technologies for ADAS/autonomous driving gained attention. The number of exhibitor of semiconductor manufacturers is rising every year, and they also received attention. On the 2nd floor where automotive mechanical technologies were exhibited, lightweight technology was the center of attention. Other than that, joint technology and 3D printers for automotive parts were popular.

: Conference
Total of 67 sessions were presented throughout the 3 days. “Weight Reduction Forum”, and “CONNECTED CAR Forum” were held for the fist time. With speakers from Fuji Heavy Industries(Subaru), BMW, Volvo, Tesla, keynote session attracted the most people.
