Reed Gift Fairs: Interview with Australia Post Central Billing

The Australia Post Central Billing team is proud to partner with Reed Gift Fairs in connecting our licensees from around Australia with the largest variety of suppliers and the latest products.

Our licensees recommend Reed Gift Fairs to each other and make it a part of their buying calendar. Stores located in rural and remote Australia jump at the opportunity to visit the event, meet the vendors they have been dealing face to face rather than the end of a keyboard. In many of our regional locations, sales representatives no longer travel out of the metropolitan cities. In a ‘normal year’, to see so many vendors in one event is the real benefit of attending Reed Gift Fairs.

The recent Covid-19 experience has bought many new faces and customers to our stores and it’s important that we have new and varied offers for them. This year, the Reed Gift Fairs event guide still leads the way with 246 featured vendors, proving plenty of variety to keep the industry turning.

Our licensee, Claudia, from Morven in central western Queensland, 700 km North West of Brisbane has an anecdote that we share with licensees when attending Reed Gift Fairs. Morven is a small town on the highway between Brisbane and Darwin serving the local farming community. The Post Office is the only destination for gifts in Morven. Claudia likes to say if a product sold well one Christmas, she can’t do it the next as people in town either brought the gift, received the gift or know someone in town that received the gift. With this in mind Claudia is always looking for something new and different to present to her customers.

Throughout this guide and at the 2021 Reed Gift Fairs events, we would recommend our licensees visit the following vendors that are on the AusPost Central Billing Program
