I capture you, living your life & telling your story. I work with my clients one on one to make sure that your images are just that... “Your Images”. My philosophy... I call my sessions “lifestyles sessions” for a reason. I capture you living your life. I follow through with our sessions to capture your true personality my methods are a little unconventional but just go with the flow to get those true personality images! I know parents and grandparents have tricks that they use to get their child or grandchild to smile. We will discuss those in our consultation prior to the session and may employ those if needed. Also we ask that you allow only myself or my assistant to give direction to avoid confusing a child as to which way they are supposed to look while being photographed. We do take relationship shots which are great times to employ those silly tricks that get those big grins. Also be prepared to be part of the session either as a subject, a prop or leader of a tickle fight.
What to expect Three simple rules:
Sessions in three parts:
1. Relax... This is going to be fun Consultation --- We discuss either & you will have some wonderful in person or on the phone the memories from your session. location and clothing options and style that you are looking for. 2. Enjoy your family, don’t stress about making the kids smile and Session Day --- 4SP Mini sessions stay posed. That is our job. are 30-45 minutes. We do allow Just sit back or join in the for down time if a child needs to fun! nurse, eat or have a potty break. 3. Refrain from bribing the child Premiere Session --- About 7 to or making them rehearse a smile 10 days after your session, I or practice saying cheese. I provide a fun dessert and we view actually cringe at the the your session premiere. Please phrase “say cheese”. make sure all decisions makers are present in the ordering session.

. .. e m t u o b a e l t t A li I am an artist at heart... I started my journey towards photography really by accident. I was working in radio & TV and quite honestly, I was more than a little burnt out. I decided to go back for my Masters but needed to add to my art portfolio for my chosen course of study. I enrolled in photography and after a few months that little light bulb went off in my head and here we are. I worked in radio as well as building my photography business until the birth of my first son in 2007. Neither my life nor how I see life through the lens has been the same since. My studio name comes from my “on air personality” , it is a name that I built with pride, hard work and dedication. My photographic art is built on the same principals. I capture the beauty of moments and relationships, my images tell your story and helps you share it with the future generations of your family.

What you wear to your session plays a big part in the success of your finished portraits. Taking some extra time to plan out the attire will be well worth the effort. I understand that there is a lot to think about in choosing what you’ll wear but this can be a really fun process and chance for you to show off your family's personality. I hope what you’re about to read will help clarify and give you direction for your clothing choices. And remember, I’m here to help so don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and give me a ring. It’s important that you feel great! I encourage moms to have their makeup done by our artist. It’s even okay to plan everyone’s clothing around what you want to wear. It’s important that everyone feels great about their look.

1) Do we look good? (not just individually but collectively as a family).
2) Does it fit our family personality? You are what you wear. A more traditional family may opt for a classic Ralph Lauren look while a playful family may choose bold colors and eclectic prints. 3) Will the colors and style work well with our home decor? After all this is going to become your fabulous work of heART! 4.) Is the clothing style a good match for the location choice? Formal wear in a barn might look incredible for a Senior but not as much for a Family Session.
Individuals You are what you wear and it is time to shine! Clothing is a reflection of your personality. I think it is wonderful to show what you are all about... Today! Textures, rich colors and lots of layers photograph fabulously. Accessories are also really fun and can bring out personality. If little Tommy hasn’t worn anything but his frog boots in months or Little Miss Emma never leaves the house without her princess tutu, let’s celebrate those magic moments!
Siblings The goal is to create a cohesive look while being careful not to make anyone conform to a style that is not their own. As every mother knows, our kiddos have very different personalities! And we want them to shine! I suggest beginning with a color palette and then developing each style individually.
