200 Primary students joined FOBISIA Games 2015 and their donations help to rebuild Nepal’s Schools for disabled children
M.R. Thepkamol Devakula, Privy Councillor to H.M. the King and Dr. Virachai Techavijit, Chairman of the Regent’s International School presided over the donation ceremony of 340,000 Baht by four students representing 200 ASEAN’s international students from Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Nepal who joined FOBISIA Primary Games 2015 at Chulabhorn Walailak Swimming Stadium. The donation came from the students’ creative ideas and activities designed to raise funds for student victims in Nepal. The British International School of Kathmandu appealed for help after two schools that they support suffered damaged to buildings designed for children with sight and hearing disabilities were destroyed by the recent earthquakes in Nepal. This year the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) Primary Games was hosted by The Regent’s School International Bangkok to welcome international students to the celebration of sports, healthy competition and fellowship without boundaries of different races, languages or religions.
