“REGENT PREPARED ME TO STEP INTO THE UNKNOWN WITH CONFIDENCE AND SKILL. THE FAITH COMPONENT OF MY COURSEWORK REMINDED ME THAT I CAN APPLY MY PASSION FOR GOD AND PEOPLE TO BEING A STRONG BUSINESS PROFESSIONAL.”

Jonathan Holman finished college late in life by some standards. He spent years pursuing portions of a calling he had sensed since childhood. But it was an inner whisper of just two words that gave him courage to make some bold new moves toward the field of business: “I’m standing in the middle of the restaurant I managed, after hours, lights off, closing shop. And I heard something inside me say, ‘It’s time.’ I couldn’t shake what I knew this meant. So, I applied for an internship and enrolled at Regent.”
His internship turned into a full-time position bringing new businesses to Hampton Roads, which, in turn, creates new jobs for workers. Jonathan is passionate about helping people move from dreaming about business to fulfilling their destiny. “I know firsthand that when the path isn’t clear, you can feel paralyzed. If I can be a bridge to help people apply faith with action for achievement, that’s doing my work for the glory of God.”
