I was amazed at how much I was able to apply to the work sector. It was these true, real-life scenarios that allowed me to grow and expand at Cox.

For Allen Cheek, one of his favorite aspects of work and life is to inspire and motivate others to do and be their best. “At Cox, we put a lot into mentoring relationships, and that’s something I value,” he says. Encouragement from his own mentor at Cox led him to pursue his MBA. Regent’s location, flexibility and commitment to training students through real-world workplace scenarios made his decision easy. “I was amazed at how much I was able to apply to the work sector. It wasn’t just this academic textbook, it was true scenarios that I practice here, and that allowed me to be able to grow and expand at Cox.” Allen now mentors others throughout Cox to become lifelong learners — always evolving, improving and fostering innovative ideas with the goal of building a better future for the next generation.
