Home of the RCMP Before donning the iconic red serge of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, cadets must first successfully complete training at Regina’s RCMP Academy, Depot Division, where new recruits have trained since 1885. Dedicated to telling the compelling story of the Force, the RCMP Heritage Centre is appropriately located on Depot’s doorstep. Learn about the history of the Force with self-guided audio tours of exhibits that chronicle the evolution of the North West Mounted Police to the modern day RCMP recognized the world over. Take a driving tour of Depot where you can catch the Sergeant Major’s Parade at 12:45 p.m. from Monday to Friday on the Parade Square. On Tuesday evenings in July and August, take in the colourful Sunset-Retreat Ceremony, a Canadian Tourism Commission Signature Experience.

From the Farm to your Table Taste locally grown food and try homemade wares at Regina Farmers’ Market, held on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the spring and summer months. Our award-winning local chefs at the Willow on Wascana, Crave Kitchen + Wine Bar, Flip Eatery and Drink, and Wild Sage Kitchen + Bar at the Hilton DoubleTree will delight you all year long.

Globe Theatre Feel the magic of theatre in the round at the Globe Theatre. The Globe Theatre is the province’s largest performing arts organization and the regional theatre for Regina and southern Saskatchewan.

Regina Symphony Orchestra Soak in the sounds and the music varying from Mahler to Super Mario. The Regina Symphony Orchestra is known to provide engaging and accessible concerts featuring a mix of the classics, pops and hits from the world of movies. The Regina Symphony Orchestra is a full scale, professional orchestra that in a 39 week season, presents: one pre-season outdoor concert event, eight Mosaic Masterworks concerts, five Shumiatcher Pops concerts, two Sask Power Family concerts, three RSO Special concerts, and six double chamber concerts.

Stand alongside the greatest fans in Canada. Join ‘Rider Nation’ and cheer for the Saskatchewan Roughriders through the summer and fall. Called the CFL’s greatest fans, it is an experience you can’t miss. They play their home games at Mosaic Stadium or enjoy one of our local pubs, such as Lancaster for their game day parties.

Just a 25 minute drive from Regina through the scenic rolling hills of the Qu’Appelle Valley, you will find the beautiful town of Lumsden. Its small town charm will have you indulging in a slice of organic prairie cherry pie, sipping a locally distilled cocktail, or bringing home fresh crisp vegetables from the garden.
